If there are people on PJ "actually tee hee-ing the illness of others," can you point to one? Because what I've read is people pointing out that when people believe they're not risking themselves and others by ignoring the advice of health officials (e.g., preachers who encourage their congregants to continue to come to church, spring breakers who gather in large groups, etc.), they find out they've been wrong. Those people who ignored the advice of health officials and are now sick are object lessons for those who would follow the same path. The ones promoting or enabling those bad decisions are the ones who are disgusting. However, if you think those providing examples for the object lesson are 'disgusting,' do you also think those saying that this virus is proportionately affecting blue states or are they exempt from your misplaced contempt?
