When should Stay-at-Home have been effected nationally...

you can filter by clicking on US on the left.. then review the graphs on the right...

Lots of argumentation back and forth about how wrong everything has gone to date...

Based on the data... and in your opinon...on what date should a nation wide stay at home order been employed...??

(with the understanding, that as a result....the US and global economies are cratered, millions are unemployed, and massive panic effects all...)

go armchair QBs ..go...
Speaking from Britain, which is on complete lockdown ( notice the prison term) this is going to devastate jobs and small and mediums sized + a few large businesses - I am doing a law degree and have just been told that we can't finish it - either we must defer or we will be marked on the work we have done so far - schools, universities and all other learning institutions are shut - Everyone I know who has had anything to do with hospitals over the last weeks are saying that the hospitals are completely empty - and that is from quite a few people from all over GB - I know of many scheduled ops and other hospital appointments which have been cancelled.

This is not about a virus -

Who is "ignoring" bodies? How could you when the tally is on the news 24/7? No one is "ignoring" it. SOME, however are definitely using it for "political implications" (and that's not the Republicans).
No more people have died as normally die - but all deaths are being registered as Corona - it is a huge con - for profit and power.

I feel a bit lightheaded. Maybe you should drive.

I have no doubt you are 100% correct, at least to some extent. I have seen reports that anyone who dies while they have Covid-19 is counted, even if they died of some other malady. So the death count is obviously inflated.

Virus must mutate in order to survive. Every year new strains are found and they are put on an international data base. Corona virus amount to 10% of all flu virus.

Jump to Event 201 - ( I really like this woman)

Under this video is a link to a virologist - put 2+2 together and we get FAKE

Because the political implications of the Trump administration's incompetence are not beneficial for right-wingers.

Look I'm not here to argue Trump made zero mistakes. Obviously our "leaders" in both parties got a lot wrong (in retrospect). But this absurd notion of yours that Trump made egregious errors and if only the Dems had been in charge this never would have happened is not in any way helpful. If fact it is exactly the opposite.

Our Governments are NOT the real powers in the world today. It is ridiculous to be arguing party politics at this time when the evil ones are taking total power into their own hands.

The virus induced it. I know it's hard to accept, but capitalism failed in the face of the corona virus. It's time to rethink your economic ideology.
This is dumb. Commies and “Democratic Socialists” failed there as well. Time for you to stop leveraging all things to get other people to pay your bills.

Don't talk ideology with anyone whose financial planning counts taking from ones parents as a tent pole

No matter what I say Phil will come back with, " well, there were only 15 cases then."

But fuk that, the National Guard should have been at the airports and Ports testing as soon as the first five cases landed in America. All you had to do was look at China to see what was coming. I would say a National shut down by Feb1st. It happened anyway so why wait we might be through it by now. By the middle of Feb. Richard Burr was telling friends the SWHTF and sold his stock while telling the public everything was fine. Trump was in LA LA land his only concern being for the stock market. Every fuking thing was too late, everything. The damn ventilators being made now will not be available until the end of May.

jan 30 - there were 7 recorded cases in the US.

again...on a delta of 7...you, as president, would have ordered a stay at hme for the entire US.......thereby shuttering businesses, crashing markets, losing trillions, etc..etc..

i acknowledge it is not such an easy decision....and the facts bear out the effect..
Lives lost to protect capital, for sure, american values.

But back to the topic of the thread.

The trajectory of the spread would be instructive. Note the difference is the response and respective curve flattening of the US versus S Korea? Both countries diagnosed their first cases of COVID-19 on the same day, Jan 21.

Yes, we know, S Korea has a population ~1/6th of America's.

Any inflection point on our MAGA growth curve yet?

Not even after another socialist bailout of our aristocracy?

I know...actually injecting ideology or party into this subject is flatly wrong - and is calculated strategy for those not hamstrung by decency.
Anyone still attempting to float the charade that there is any decency in american society is delusional. Our "way of life" has been utterly exposed for what it is. What America is hamstrung by is its own consequences. And now, people are going to once again die for it, while those left behind will engage in the endless denial and blame that has held the house of cards together for so long.

There’s plenty of decency in America. Regrettably, there’s plenty of rot as well.

There's a maga growth curve? Do tell

Meanwhile, I thought we were focusing on the topic of the thread

What's your call champ? on what date would you have shut down the American economy thereby crashing the stock market devalued currency ruined life savings and lost trillions?

President
Nonsense. We have reports that up to 50% of those infected are completely asymptomatic. Therefore, we have no reliable estimates on how many are truly infected.

Facts matter.
Except from the countries that are carefully and systematically testing asymptomatic people who may have been exposed.

See S Korea's curve. See ours. Argue nonsense amongst yourselves as your governors compete for survival supplies.

MAGA.
Fascinating that those nations with cultures of quiet compliance and less questioning of authority generally excel at curve-flattening, no?

Do you pine for Americans to become even more sheeplike?
