Their angst is palpable. It shows in every single post they write[IMG] even when they pretend to be calm. Too bad.

I hope I didn't sound like a braggart here. There are a some people on this board who are smarter than me. One of them is @EatTheRich. I learn a lot from reading his posts.:)

I love chittlins. But I only cook them on special occasions because they are hard to clean.

7 bean and ham hock soup, fried chicken and fried potatoes, canning, growing all our vegetables, and fruit trees of every imaginable variety was just how things were done. and who didn't have a container of bacon grease/lard on the stove for seasoning spinach, and all greens, etc.
corn fritters, corn cakes, homemade applesauce, jellies, jams, preserves, pickles, relishes, bread, pies and ice cream..
there's nothing in stores today than can come close to the taste of home grown and home prepared foods.
a tomato from your garden compared to one from the store is a prime example of the difference.
the same can be found in every comparison..

I think Joe Biden and Elisabeth Warren will run for president. I hear another good candidate speaking and he will run for president. he is Sherrod Brown
