So interesting to see “Progressive” Democrat Congresswomen, who originally came from countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe, the worst, most corrupt and inept anywhere in the world (if they even have a functioning government at all), now loudly......

  1. ....and viciously telling the people of the United States, the greatest and most powerful Nation on earth, how our government is to be run. Why don’t they go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came. Then come back and show us how....

  2. ....it is done. These places need your help badly, you can’t leave fast enough. I’m sure that Nancy Pelosi would be very happy to quickly work out free travel arrangements!*********************************************************************

  3. Seriously, what is wrong with him? Even Therese May called this inappropriate.

And in the middle of the night, Trump kept at it.

When will the Radical Left Congresswomen apologize to our Country, the people of Israel and even to the Office of the President, for the foul language they have used, and the terrible things they have said. So many people are angry at them & their horrible & disgusting actions!

Is this all a distraction from his raids or what?

he is a bigot. he is sexist. he wants to be a bully. he has made a calculated decision to make bigotry and sexism and division his main re-election strategy, and all his actions, tweets, policies are designed to divide us along racial and political divides, not to call for unity to do better as A COUNTRY....to find common ground, to make us the leader in green energy, for example. to end the crippling deficits even in the midst of a great economy and no real combat troops on the ground due to stupid huge tax cuts for the rich and the already historically profitable big corporations they control or have so much stock in. he wants to pander to bigotry and sexism. he thinks it works. he believes it is how he first got elected, and to a certain extent he is right....but a lot of not very bigoted people voted for him or stayed home in the last election because hillary was such a negative force for all repubs and a lot of independents, and even a lot of sander supporting democrats. and he said he would clear the swamp, instead of making it deeper and wider. he said he would end the deficits, erase the public debt, and he has made both much larger. he has alienated our allies and snuggled up to and bent over for our enemies and for dictators that kill journalists and opponents.

he cannot win by just pandering to bigots. and he will lose by a large margin.

It's Trump's way of keeping his base scared, just as Cortez states.

“You are angry because you can’t conceive of an America that includes us. You rely on a frightened America for your plunder,” Ocasio-Cortez tweeted. “THIS is what racism looks like. WE are what democracy looks like. And we’re not going anywhere. Except back to DC to fight for the families you marginalize and vilify everyday,” Pressley wrote.

You're right in all your points on the lack of morals, values and outright cruelty and inhumanity that is Trump.
I wish these attacks were a sign of an impending psychotic breakdown....and we'd catch a break.

Trump has a hold on rural America......where people of color are few and far between. As studies show, those who live farther away from people of color are more bigoted.

It is a twofer.....racism and misogyny.....from a president who's intent on dividing, not uniting.

I've always thought of you as a wiser leftist, but, when you use brain dead AOC for a reference I must now rethink my thoughts.

Did she and the other progressive America hating women call Pelosi RACIST to keep their base scared? Omar's district just had a city hall Ban the Pledge of Allegiance, that's what their democracy looks like and it's ugly.

Proves you've never been in a rural area of America. Studies show, those who live in blue inner cities see more blacks killed by blacks.

If the Congresswomen in question can't get along with Speaker Pelosi, do you really expect them to get along with Trump?

Speaker Pelosi – who is tagged as the embodiment of aging, out-of-touch leadership — was recently quoted as saying, “All these people have their public whatever and their Twitter world.” With fingers ablaze, the inimitable A-O-C retorted, “That public ‘whatever’ is called public sentiment … and wielding the power to shift it is how we actually achieve meaningful change in this country.” In other words, take that, Nancy, and would you like another?

Before the Speaker even had a chance to respond, Omar tapped out a unifying tweet, “Patetico! You know they’re just salty about WHO is wielding the power to shift ‘public sentiment’ these days, sis. Sorry not sorry.” Dang! In the words of Rev. Al Sharpton, Pelosi can’t get no R-E-S-P-I-C-T here. A-O-C’s right-hand man Saikat Chakrabarti – who is quite the character himself — didn’t hesitate to jump all over Pelosi’s case. Defending his 29-year-old el jefe, he called out Pelosi by asserting the current leadership as unwilling to fight for its principles. Essentially it was, “Step aside, old lady. Time to get the hell out of Dodge.”

A normal president wouldn't stoop this low to insinuate himself and attack 4 congresswomen. Only a mentally disturbed one like Trump would.

It wasn't completely banned... it's still allowed.
-------------------

SAINT LOUIS PARK, Minn. — Saint Louis Park City Council meetings will no longer begin with the Pledge of Allegiance.

The council voted to change meeting protocol on June 17, moving start times up an hour to 6:30 p.m. and dropping the pledge. The resolution was approved by a 5-0 vote with one council member and the mayor absent.

Anne Mavity, the Ward 2 council member in St. Louis Park, sponsored the change, saying the pledge doesn't reflect the city's diverse values and is not necessary.

"Not everyone who does business with the city or has a conversation is a citizen," Mavity said. "They certainly don't need to come into city council chambers and pledge their allegiance to our country in order to tell us what their input is about a sidewalk in front of their home."

To be clear, the city council did not vote to ban the pledge. It may still be used during special occasions, such as appearances by the Boy Scouts Color Guard.

Yes, now I need re-think my thoughts on your wisdom and allegiance to America.

May still be.....….yet otherwise banned due to Muslims and evidently some leftist.

One step closer toward Sharia Law.

Your accusation of disloyalty toward my allegiance is ridiculous.
The Pledge of Allegiance has been controversial for a long time re: under God usage. Some objecting are atheists... other religions... etc.

------------------------
I pledge allegiance -- I promise my loyalty
to the Flag of the United States of America -- to the Flag symbolizing the USA, and all of its 50 states,
and to the republic for which it stands -- a country where people have the right to choose their representatives to form the government,
one nation -- a united nation
under God -- God willing / having faith in God
indivisible -- a country that cannot be divided
with Liberty -- personal freedom
and Justice -- fair treatment from the law
for all -- for each and every citizen of the country

The wording of the Pledge has caused controversies on several occasions; Jehovah's Witnesses consider saluting and pledging loyalty to a Flag idolatry, the phrase 'under God' has invited criticism from atheists and polytheists, and there are calls to make it more lucid, considering that it is primarily recited by school children, who are too young to understand its meaning.

I don't think you have to be "mentally disturbed" to hurl an insult.....Especially in politics. We had one Presidential candidate refer to supporters of her opponent as "A basket full of deplorables".....While many may question her judgment, I haven't heard of any serious calls for her commitment to a mental institution. At least, not so far.

Ms. Pelosi has been plenty dismissive of the Congresswomen in question, as if they were little more than annoying gnats. That's plenty insulting as well, and the Congresswomen were quick to voice their displeasure. That's politics. That's life inside the Beltway. And while this President revels in it, he certainly didn't invent it.

If you're bothered by it, you should be bothered by all of it. That seems unlikely, however.
