Imperialism and colonialism were bad news. Alas, one of the downsides is that states are beginning to fail, and will continue doing so.

The bombing of Libya and the US/Isreali/Saudi - Wahhabi foreign insurgence in Syria (Corporate 'Chechen' Mercenaries) and Africa has bought to Europe an uncontrollable, unmanageable never ending stream of refugees --- The US destruction of the ME for its resources and Corporate's theft of African Land will possibly be the end of European Civilization. The US broken promise to Russia, that is would leave it's hinterlands alone to find their own feet, has bought Corporate cheap labour but thrown half of Europe's own people out of work ---

The bombing of Libya was the most devastating as far as refugees are concerned because it has opened the door to the whole of Africa.

Cheap-Labor Traitors Create a Lucrative Sympathy for Foreign Misfits

A refugee is a cowardly deserter. Let him go back and kill his oppressors, not bring his genetic problems here.

"LONDON — The number of people uprooted from their homes by war and persecution in 2014 was larger than in any year since detailed record-keeping began, according to acomprehensive report released early Thursday by the U.N. refugee agency that will add to the evidence of a global exodus unlike any in modern times.

"Just a year after the number of refugees, asylum-seekers and people forced to flee within their own countries surpassed 50 million for the first time since World War II, it surged to nearly 60 million in 2014 — 'a nation of the displaced' that is roughly equal to the population of the United Kingdom."

Perhaps the question to ask is who should pay the costs of the greatest refugee migration since WWII?

    "Big Campaign Donors

"The defense industry has, since 1999, more than doubled its niche in the US manufacturing sector. According to a report in the Examiner, defense industry leaders have concluded that War on Terror campaign donations of $200 million create billions of dollars in return on investment in lucrative Pentagon contracts.

"The timing of Obama’s pledge to remain in Afghanistan for the next ten years is more than relevant. The signing took place in 2012 as the presidential race was heating up. It transpired that defense contractors were amongst Obama’s largest campaign supporters. It appeared that defense contractors were donating vast sums of dollars into Obama’s re-election funds."

If the world is serious about ending war, it will have to find a way to make peace more profitable than violent conflict.

A significant "death tax" on all war-related profits after the first innocent civilian dies in designated conflicts might provide new incentives for those who get rich from mass murder and displacement.

Europe and the US take Syrians while the Arab states refuse them. That makes no sense.

I bet when its all over there will be more Syrian refugees that the population of Syria. A whole lot of people using it as an excuse to immigrate. The US is paying 20Kper person to bring these people in.

War of All Against All, All the Time

Just the opposite. The Third World has proven that it is unfit for self-determination.
