Few report that he was frustrated over a name he was struggling to pronounce. A studio is a place where decorum needs to be followed and anyone that has worked live mics understands the requirement to leave those words behind. His inability to deal with a difficult name just might mean he isn't cut out to be an announcer, let alone an anchor. If I thought he was any good, I might give him a second chance. But he was terrible. The WVA communications program did not benefit from that performance.
I dunno...Fired from a small market? 152 in the Nielsens...Not good.
Kinda reminds me of Driver Dan, our driver's education teacher back in high school. He'd only pronounce the first four letters of anyone's name, and then he'd just sorta mumble the rest. I was lucky. My name has only four letters.
