As you pointed out, he was wrong. He injected himself into a very emotion-grabbing story when he wasn't there. That's a pretty crappy thing to do, and blundering gaffe if he doesn't remember.
It's not some big time gaffe, but Biden has been full of them lately. Like I said, I hope he keeps talking. He's a funny man without lifting a finger to try.
I don't know what standards or statistics he's referencing, but many businesses are organically using better methods to take care of air pollution. He could be right. Why, do you see increasing smog over the country?
