Jeb made $$ off ObamaCare.

of course, he recently quit the firm so the republican base won't notice that he's a hypocrite.

I don't see an issue or how that is being a hypocrite?

We all take advantage of the laws in the best way we can.

I am for parts of Obamacare like children on parents policies longer, preexisting conditions being covered, and everyone having access to health care. What myself and a lot of other people were against were the lies to get it passed and the lies about how it would be paid for.

I'm republican, but hell will freeze over before I cast a vote for Jeb Bush
But if Jeb and Hillary are the choices..........I will either not vote at all because my state will go Jeb either way or I will vote Jeb.

At least Jeb doesn't have the trail of dead bodies and the otherwise lackluster history that Hillary has.

Kevin Drum:
"I can’t help but get a chuckle out of this. In normal times, Bush would have left Tenet because it’s a big, soulless corporation that’s paid fines for Medicare fraud and been criticized for dodgy tax practices at the same time it was beefing up executive pay. A man of the people who aspires to the Oval Office can’t afford to be associated with this kind of dirty money.
But no. At least if Politico is to be believed, this isn’t really an issue in the GOP primary. What is an issue is that Tenet might have profited from Obamacare, which in turn means that Jeb may have profited from Obamacare. Even if it’s a double bank shot, that’s dirty money in tea party land.

That ACA was going to be paid for by the young and healthy is the main one.

But all the lies to get it passed with no Republican support and to get reelected like the lie of the year you can keep your plan, you can keep your doctor etc.

all insurance companies rely on premiums from the young and healthy to offset the costs for the unhealthy. that's no lie. was that something you never knew?

the taxes in the ACA are clearly spelled out in the bill. that's no lie.

under the grandfathering provision, people would be able to keep their same plan for a period of time unless the policy was too shitty to begin with. that's no lie.

I'm sure you noticed that every year that your company offered coverage, there were changes to the policy, changes to the doctors who signed on to be providers. so every year, it was a given that there would be some changes. that has nothing to do with the ACA. that's no lie. perhaps you didn't know that.

the republicans pretended to offer some support for the ACA during the debates. they said they'd support if this or that was changed e.g. if there were no public option. when the dems gave the repubs those changes, it didn't matter, because they still decided in the end to not support it, even though this was a plan they'd supported for years....from the Heritage Foundation. so don't give us that crap that no republican support meant anything. it didn't. that's no lie.

Lol. The law was lied about to get reelection then it was lied about to get it passed.

You don't actually believe all that you wrote do you? Seriously?

I don't give two craps what the republicans did or did not do, you don't pass legislation with zero bipartisan support.

The ACA is not paid for by the young and healthy so it was a lie.

You are 100% correct doctors and plans change every year so why lie about it? Because they wanted to make it sound better than it was.

If we vote as you said we will continue to have leaders that are progressive big government people that don't give a damn about joe average and don't care what they want. I refuse to keep putting the systems choice by the power leaders, its time the people elect someone.

If Republicans think that way and can't get a more conservative candidate nominated AND elected, then we will always have Democrat presidents.

I think that's a lot worse than having a moderate Republican.

the idiots that i paid to read and understand the legislation they were forcing on us not only failed to do their job, but were smug and dismissive about it when asked "what laws are you passing that will effect every single man, woman and child for generations to come?"

my employee answers smugly,,"we have to pass it to see whats in it.."

at that point i would have liked to use one of her own personal assault wepons of mass destruction on the [Unwelcome language removed] [she and her international war profiteer husband have made a fortune off the death and misery of countless innocents, and they have more personal automatic military hardware at home than most town armorys]

pelosi,,liar, hypocrit, war profiteer, democrat..

Those young and healthy are being forced to purchase insurance or be penalized...that's no lie.

Taxes weren't even mentioned when trying to pass the ACA...in fact Obama swore it wasn't a tax (until the SC said it was). I suppose you think it's great that the IRS will be penalizing thousands of people that can't afford the insurance.

And yes....Obama said insurance policies could be grandfathered in, but conveniently left out the part UNLESS IT'S TOO SHITTY TO BEGIN WITH. Those policies were NOT shitty, they just happen to not cover things the people that had them didn't need anyway. Now they have to have a policy covering things they'll never use and it's costing them more.

I see no difference between rep. and Dem at this point, they both push the progressive agenda. I refuse to keep going down that road. There are many Republicans coming to the same conclusion. I expect a party split and maybe a 3rd party as a result.

There is enough difference that I will still vote GOP for the time being.
GOP = stronger military
Dim = strips our military and weakens us.

While I don't like going to war to "spread democracy" I do want some strength protecting us and there's more strength with the GOP. For that reason, GOP is the lesser of the two evils.
