You are right, unlike HRC, most conservative women would not accept the men in their lives mistreating women, molesting them and sexually harassing them.
What conservative women believe however, it is up to each individual woman to stand up for herself. If a woman fails to stand up for herself and object to such mistreatment of herself, and that she may directly witness, her credibility is rightfully questioned. Like many things, people think about stuff they did, behavior they engaged in and situations that their their youth and inexperience led them to think was ok and or acceptable at the time. But, their rethinking a situation 10, 20 or 30 years later, and does not equate to a lack of consent - AT THAT MOMENT.
Also being women ourselves,we know that there are many things women will do to attain the affection and attention of men they either deem attractive or powerful or both. We also know that since the dawn of time women have been effectively trading on their sexuality and sex appeal - to get ahead and attain status, wealth and security. So we know that here are plenty of situations where a woman would consent to behavior from a man - if she thinks there is the possibility that she can use that to her advantage in some way. We know, that we are manipulative like that and really don't have any patience for someone crying foul later because it is personally or politically expedient to do so.
Do not mistake that for tolerating that behavior. We don't. We are just ALSO willing to acknowledge that a woman's refusal to stand up for herself is akin to her consent and willingness to put up with that kind of behavior.
As to what Donald Trump did or did not do with those women.. like Bill Clinton, I think it will have little to no effect on his actual effectiveness as President. . at least he will know he won't be a first to get a blowjob in the oval office by a staffer.
