Three Impeachments

President Donald J. Trump joined a very exclusive club a few days ago. He became only the third President in US history to be impeached. (President Nixon resigned before they could impeach him).
So, that leaves Andrew Johnson, Bill Clinton and Donald Trump.
Let's have a little fun. Who can be the first to name the articles of impeachment for each of these three Presidents?

Here is today's history lesson--- the articles of impeachment for Johnson, Clinton and Trump.

President Andrew Johnson: Article 1) Dismissing Edwin Stanton from office after Senate had voted not to concur with his dismissal, and had ordered him to be reinstated.
Article 2) Appointing Thomas Secretary of War ad interim despite lack of vacancy in the office, since dismissal of Stanton was invalid.

President Bill Clinton: Article 1) Grand jury perjury. Article 2) Obstruction of justice. Article 3)Perjury.

President Trump: Article 1) Abuse of power. Article 2) Obstruction of Congress.

I love history! :)

Johnson: Incompetence
Clinton: Lying under Oath
Trump: Democrats know they cannot beat him in the 2020 election.

Here's an interesting exercise. Show the United States Legal Code designations for each of those charges. Looking forward to you dodging this one!

I don't need to look this information up. I know enough already.
P.S. Did you ever learn the difference between being impeached and being removed from office? LOL! Please think before you make any more bets with people. :)

Your dodge is noted, as expected.

I'll make it easy for you. The sham impeachment charges against President Trump have no US Code designation, because they are entirely made up. Meanwhile, the charges against both Clinton and Johnson DO have US Code designations, because they are actual crimes.

We used to hang people for what you leftnuts are doing.

How did you know this, but didn't know the definition of impeachment?

That's why the charges against both Johnson and Clinton have actual US Code designations, while the completely made up charges against Trump have NO code designations.

LOL

Their only reason is they hate Trump for beating them in 2016 and they want to try to keep him from beating them again in 2020. But they're pissing in their wheaties. They're his best campaign ad so far.

And Trump's impeachment will go down in history as the first impeachment of a president who hasn't committed any crime. o_O Democrats are .......funny (not in a good way) if nothing else.

Exactly right, @JackDallas .
Democrats used impeachment as a campaign tool. Sickening. But that's how they roll.

And guess what! Democrats will be hoisted on their own petard. Trump will win in 2020.

I love it.

Don't be silly. The Democrats' disgrace and utter humiliation will be complete by the end of next year, when President Trump gets re-elected. I certainly hope you'll still be with us.
Are you sure Trump will be re-elected? Wanna bet on it? The one who loses the bet will stay off PJ for 6 months? ;)

The Republicans don't want to believe he committed any crimes. Remember when Trump said he could stand on the corner of 5th Ave and shoot somebody and his base would still support him?
He knew his base very well. :)

No, Doll, I don't want you to stay off PJ for six months. I will do this, though. If Trump loses, I will pay the 20 bucks for your Supporting Member banner. When Trump wins, all you have to do is make a post saying Jack was right and I was wrong, Trump is my president.
Okay?

PS: Yes, Trump will be reelected.
