Trump is destroying our DOJ

Who is “Don”? Are you talking about Trump again? If so...yes, this is hardly breaking news that he is not Jesus Christ. The latter being our savior and messiah. :)

The ruling aristocracy will do whatever we the people allow and frankly the people are giving it nothing to be concerned about.
That's too bad... Trump's sheeple will defend him regardless of how bad Trump wrecks what we love and think of as being great about America. When I listen to what Trump says, I don't see a president vested in America/our values at all.

Whoever termed the phrase on their(book title), everything Trump touches, dies.. nailed it.
It's been happening since the day he took office it and has never stopped.

The difference is clear. What Obama/Holder did was make right the injustice in the sentencing of the thousands of minor drug offenders. trump used barr to to influence the sentencing of felonies done by stone- his good friend and former 'political advisor'.

Don't be obtuse.

Oh so you prefer a sentence , just because of Mueller's lackey's butthurt ? Oh Ok.

What seems to have happened is relatively clear. The three former Mueller prosecutors, having seen their coup attempt evaporate were just trying to extract vengeance on Roger Stone as a form of payback. They were also clearly sending a big screw-you to President Trump and to Attorney General Bill Barr.

The Justice Department correctly withdrew the sentencing recommendation.

Timothy Shea, who was recently appointed to take over as the top federal prosecutor in D.C. earlier this month, was bullied into agreeing to the sentence recommendation by Adam Jed and Aaron Zelinsky, who were originally tapped by Mueller to investigate whether Donald Trump treasonously colluded with the Russian government to steal the 2016 election from Hillary Clinton.

Shea’s acquiescence to the demand by the disgruntled former Mueller operatives raised questions about whether Shea was operationally in control of the D.C. prosecutor’s office, or whether he had effectively outsourced major decisions in high-profile cases to Mueller’s former deputies.

Wait until Stone gets pardoned. My base of lunatics will go bonkers.

I see no proof in your allegation.

Was what you copied and pasted from a right wing conspiracy theorist website?

Who?

It is not illegal for the president to exert influence, as evidenced by the references shared. Commutation and reductions are fairly common. Spanning administrations.

Is it a questionable action. Surely

Is it illegal or without precedent merely because he's hated?? Absolutely not. Not on your say so or otherwise.

There is however legal process. Don't like it??
Litigate.

But again... Not on your say so

And don't give me obtuse. Free thinking isn't illegal in America....yet.

There is a big difference in all this. No charges were filed.

In hindsight, with trump and his mob like activities as president in not willing to show his tax returns and among the latest with all his 'associates' being found guilty of crimes, the IRS was onto something.

But keep on making excuses. He's depending on the "ignorant voter".

There is a difference between what Holder and barr did.

I explained it above. I asked you to not be obtuse because it's clear as day...and you know it. Yet you continue to be.
