OMG! The socialist bill failed, everyone should be rejoicing in the streets. No bailouts for anyone.
these Trump defenders aren’t saying one single word about the pork that is in that bill that will benefit the rich. Trump is so set on helping his failing businesses that he would never remove some of that crap from the bill he has already said that he wants to bail out hotels. And you know who’s hotels will be bailed out.

Amen... this was part of the reason for the delay in bill being agreed upon.

Trump businesses barred from getting coronavirus stimulus money, Schumer says

  • President Trump’s businesses are barred from getting loans or investments under the new $2 trillion coronavirus stimulus deal, according to Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer.
  • The Trump Organization, which the president has not divested, is run by his two elder sons, Donald Jr. and Eric. The company controls several hotels, resorts and golf clubs, including Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida.
  • Democrats and other critics of the president were concerned that Trump’s businesses would receive bailout money because the tourism industry is one of the hardest hit by the coronavirus.

Good speaking with you as well.
Allowing companies to go under - Bet you like that one.

but seriously...some adulting for you... no, i dont believe in slush funds. I do believe in keeping individuals and companies afloat such that we dont have mass unemployment.

thank you for not asking, and instead making it up like a toddler might, i hope I wasnt too forward in my providing you an unwanted adult answer all the same.

toodles...
I thought you knew what was in the bill. Seems you didn't.

generally, i was in favor of thwarting the add on effect (that is, preventing the cascade effect of their going under on dealershis, parts wholesalers, etc,,,
I can't actually say that your answer made sense.

I thought the cash for clunkers deal was the result of a rushed response to the potential loss of retail outlets for auto builders. It managed to save a lot of dealers, but it was a mess. The Japanese did the same thing, but only cars made in Japan were eligible and the cars the government bought were shipped to markets in other countries where there were not already dealerships for those cars....a lot of them went to Russia or Africa. We simply destroyed them.

The bailout was estimated to save a million jobs. It was a loan. As near as I can tell, a substantial amount of the republican stimulus was just a gift. No payback needed.

Wrong the bailout is for the workers because if the company fails the workers are all out of work and have no hope of quickly regaining their lifestyle

Are you taking those pills because you understand or because you do not
If a company takes the money, does a massive buyback on it's own stock or uses the cash for CEO bonuses...how does that help the workers?

1. No, there was nothing at all about abortions in Pelosi's bill.
2. I'm generally against a $15 min wage...because there is little
time for business to take that into the business model. I can't
double what I charge for food in the time frame given to raise
wages. I do see the increase as helping some, but hurting
others.
