There are more stories that the news covers besides crimes. Just because they didn't do anything wrong doesn't mean the information is disposable.CNN obviously had an issue with the fact that they did nothing wrong....so I guess they top lined it last night on their web site in block letters cause they did not want to give the impression that nothing untoward was occurring. Yeah that's it
Some people use that information.... and write a bloody top post about it, because that was your point, how a non-story became headlines.
Of course. I just thought it interesting that they would headline moderna execs 'dumping' stocks...that were set to trigger at a threshold outside if their control and perfectly legal and above board activity..There are more stories that the news covers besides crimes. It is interesting, because it is more evidence of CNN propaganda replacing/running CNN news. Elon Musk, of all people, says we have become a fascist state. Well, the free press becoming the propaganda arm of the political parties has a lot to do with that.Of course. I just thought it interesting that they would headline moderna execs 'dumping' stocks...that were set to trigger at a threshold outside if their control and perfectly legal and above board activity..
They could have headlined it with. " moderna executives execute perfectly legal stock transactions". But they didn't.
Yes. There was absolutely nothing illegal in the transactions. It is simply a case of wanting to make executive look bad. Despite they're having done nothing wrongIt is interesting, because it is more evidence of CNN propaganda replacing/running CNN news. Elon Musk, of all people, says we have become a fascist state. agreed.Yes. There was absolutely nothing illegal in the transactions. It is simply a case of wanting to make executive look bad. Despite they're having done nothing wrong
Nit-picking word choice. "Dumping" accurately describes their action.Of course. I just thought it interesting that they would headline moderna execs 'dumping' stocks...that were set to trigger at a threshold outside if their control and perfectly legal and above board activity..
They could have headlined it with. " moderna executives execute perfectly legal stock transactions". But they didn't.
wrong... "dumping" is the exact opposite of what happened.Nit-picking word choice. "Dumping" accurately describes their action.
What do you want your subtitle to read?agreed.
so did you see my Eureka moment in this thread? Is anything happening with this commentator idea? I'm painfully aware that I'm going around posting with this "Commentator" description, which, for the moment, might as well read "king of the world" because I am not either of those two.
Yep. But you see what I mean about deliberate cast...yes?wrong... "dumping" is the exact opposite of what happened.
Not “wrong”...but rather intentionally and purposefully misleading and propagandizing - by design - with every possible syllable. This garbage is borne of neither ignorance nor error. It’s calculated. Always.wrong... "dumping" is the exact opposite of what happened.
IOW, it is the same propaganda that CNN was pushing... in this case, the DNC propaganda. Not “wrong”...but rather intentionally and purposefully misleading and propagandizing - by design - with every possible syllable. This garbage is borne of neither ignorance nor error. It’s calculated. Always.
Why don't you apply to CNN since you are morning-morning quarterbacking their word choice?Yep. But you see what I mean about deliberate cast...yes?
And that some clearly don't utilize stock triggers...
Dumping, off-loading, selling- all accurate descriptors for this particular situation.wrong... "dumping" is the exact opposite of what happened.
Wow, look at quote that came directly from the article. Looks like it says none of the actions were illegal right there smack dab in the middle of the article.Although the fortuitous timing of the transactions may raise eyebrows, Charles Whitehead, professor at Cornell Law School, said the stock sales did not appear to raise any legal red flags.
"On its face, there is nothing wrong with these trades," Whitehead said. "It's what a 10b5-1 plan is intended for, assuming the requirements are met."
These plans regulate when and how many shares company insiders, including directors and executives, are allowed to sell. The transactions are typically executed automatically, without the insiders taking any action.

Nope, none are correct for this particular situation, and that has already been explained and expounded upon throughout the thread.Dumping, off-loading, selling- all accurate descriptors for this particular situation.
This thread is mostly just reading too much into word choice. If you don't like it then write it better. But not you, someone who understands the value of brevity.Nope, none are correct for this particular situation, and that has already been explained and expounded upon throughout the thread.
Que...I'm good thanks. What's the matter with noting the deceptive nature of their report...Why don't you apply to CNN since you are morning-morning quarterbacking their word choice?
There is nothing deceptive about. Try reading past the title.Que...I'm good thanks. What's the matter with noting the deceptive nature of their report...
