I've never really found it very hard to avoid cops or minimize any issues when I couldn't. I had NO talk with my parents to learn that I should say, "Yes, sir," , "No, sir, " and "Sorry, sir" at appropriate moments. Then again I didn't listen to music that would acclimate me to having a very negative attitude towards authority in the form of law enforcement.

There are 800,000 cops and 328 million persons in this country. One cop per 328 people. How difficult can it be to lead a cop unfettered life?

I'm not happy or satisfied about any of it. The news has been depressing for days now.

Maybe it is far beyond time for your leaders to call out the militant parts of these left wing terror groups for the terrorists that they are? Instead they are floating conspiracies that this is a secret mass conspiracy perpetrated by the KKK. Cops and innocent people will continue to be killed and victimized until all good people stand up to it.

It's awful. And they still beat this drum that this is a cause worth the carnage it is causing.

of note.. no one is marching for this dude.

My leaders? No sir. You're not gonna pin it on them or me. Have a nice thread.
Your leaders have fanned the flames and when forced to acknowledge the carnage they instead of swiftly condemning (and taking action) against the far left groups responsible they try to float conspiracies, without evidence, that it is the invisible boogeyman behind it. I don't pin. They've pinned themselves.

Yes, they stopped marching for this guy long ago. Heck, his killer has been arrested and charged. This just became the mechanism, the excuse for it.

I think those supportingand honoring the memory of Floyd have been pushed out by the evil of looters, destroyers and anarchists..

they defile his memory..as they defile their neighbors and community, too

vulgar hordes...

the extent of this ruination will be felt for years.

talking collapse of business, jobs, educational institutions .. for years..

it's something else.. fearful.
i had someone bang on my front door this AM....my first reaction was to grab my PPK/S from my biometric safe. Never felt the need to do that before today.

It was Amazon, delivering a package.

Absolutely agree. I can respect peaceful, lawful protesting if someone feels there is a cause worth protesting/standing up over. That's America. Where this has gone should be condemned by all. The tacit acceptance of it by too many on the left......and even the conspiracy floating and lies to deflect from the root cause by people who should be enacting efforts to tackle it is making the problem worse.

What this precipitates is not “white flight”, but “good flight”. Decent folks who care about their children and seek to have meaningful community relationships won’t stay where they are hated. Filth begets filth.
