Iranian Islamic theocracy sides with Democrats in attack on President Trump

LOL

Recall the left's reaction upon the death of Soleimani:

Iran’s government has issued an arrest warrant for U.S. President Donald Trump over the killing of its top commander, Gen. Qasem Soleimani, in January, the country’s semiofficial Fars news agency reported Monday.

Tehran is also reportedly asking Interpol for help, according to Fars. Ali Alghasi-Mehr, the attorney general of Tehran, named Trump and 35 others Iran has accused of involvement in Soleimani’s death as facing “murder and terrorism charges,” and was quoted as saying he had asked Interpol to issue “red notices” for them — the highest level notice Interpol can issue on an individual to pursue their arrest.

Trump, however, is in no danger of arrest and it’s highly unlikely Interpol would honor Iran’s request, as the international agency’s guidelines forbid it from “undertaking any intervention or activities of a political” nature. Red notices enable local law enforcement authorities to arrest individuals on behalf of the requesting country, though they cannot force the country to arrest or extradite suspects.

The Trump administration has so far not responded to Iran’s announcement. Interpol did not immediately reply to a request for comment from CNBC.

Soleimani led Iran’s Quds Force, the foreign operations wing of the elite paramilitary Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. The Trump administration labeled him a terrorist, and Washington deemed him responsible for the deaths of hundreds of U.S. troops in Iraq.

The 62-year-old Soleimani was killed in a drone strike directed by Trump in early January while in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad, in a move that sent regional tensions and oil prices soaring and triggered a retaliatory attack by Iran and its proxies on Iraqi bases housing U.S. troops.

Let's look back at where you fell on the Soleimani killing. It was right in line with the Iranian Islamic theocracy. The same theocracy that executes homosexuals, encourages female genital mutilation, and burns Jews alive. Of course.
Is that where I “fell”?

Don’t stop with that laughable lie - you’re on a roll!

Why was it a better idea to kill him, on Iraqi soil, without telling the Iraqis, in an area surrounded by thousands of US troops...to kill him rather than taking him into custody for a trial?

Let's look back at your opinion of Obama's killing of Awlaki.
1. Awlaki was in an area of the world without a working Law Enforcement capability. Their courts had already condemned him to death in absentia but couldn't capture him.
2. He was surrounded by his own armed fighters with no American troops or allied troops able to mount a mission without substantial casualties.
3. Significant evidence existed of Awlaki's part in attempts to bring down two US airliners with hundreds of passengers.

And you think killing him was a crime by Obama....

If I were to guess I would say the blowback that the George W. Bush Administration and Obama Administration were supposedly so worried about. Given the tendencies of Iran, it would be better to kill him outright then make everyone a target in the region by holding him someplace. Knowing he was alive Iran probably would have tried to exact pressure through violence to get him released which puts our troops in the region in even more danger.

Also, he simply deserved it.

They didn't need to side with Democrats to attack Trump. They could have just sided with Trump's twitter account where he attacked the previous POTUS for all of the things he's failing at now.

and terrorist who tried to murder hundreds if not thousands of americans. We had his bombers who rolled on him. We had no way to capture him without getting our guys killed.

Funny you worry more about the life of a murderer than our troops.
