The most disgraceful pro-Trump hackery ever?

Bugsy McGurk

President
Could well be. At the House hearing today on the January 6 insurrection.

Christopher Miller, Trump’s Secretary of Defense on January 6, previously said what is obvious to all honest people - that Trump incited the January 6 rampage by his murderous mob. Miller even said that as recently as in the statement he wrote for today’s hearing.

BUT...someone got to Miller. So, when asked that same question today he said he has “reassessed” and was no longer willing to say that Trump incited the riot.

Such truly shameless, shocking hackery. Maybe the worst ever?

It is.

So let him lie, prove he lied, then charge and convict him.

A process so simple even a dem/lib could follow it.
If there's a referral, it will be up to the FBI to investigate.

While Miller said in a media interview and in his prepared statement for Wednesday’s hearing that Trump encouraged the protesters on Jan. 6, he took a different tack in his live testimony.

Looks like Trump got to him. Wonder how he threatened him.

That seems to be the big problem with the whole, "burden of proof" falling on the accusers, huh?

Sorry it isn't as easy as just convicting one of a wrong doing because some dem/lib "feels" something happened but, at least for now, that is just how it is in the USA dear.

It’s not what people “feel.” It’s what we all heard Trump say. You are willing to ignore that. Honest people are not.

In that case it would be easy as hell to prove that Trump committed a crime then, right?

So prove it, get your guilty verdict and dance around your maypole until you collapse from joy.

Bugsy - you might as well talk to the wall - the liepublicans will have no part of the truth - after all the insurrectionist were just tourists walking peacefully and orderly down the halls, and did anyone poll them to see if they indeed were Greatest Loser cult members. The liepublican party has made it's bed, a mattress full of lies and I hope they sleep well on it - as the SANE world look on. At this point, McCARTHY, called the sitting President corrupt and asked for money - it is like a conditioned trigger for the cult base and they trigger them with certain words into action - some SANE people would call that brainwashing............I call it being a devote cult member - as shown everyday on here.

Yup. Very easy. Indeed, the compelling case was already made during Trump’s second impeachment, but only a handful of Republicans voted to impeach/remove. Quite deplorable. And the DOJ should prosecute him now as well. Upon which you Trump cultists would all screech like banshees.

But you digress. The evidence is not what we “feel,” as you falsely claimed. The evidence is what we saw and heard. As with any crime.

That’s the bottom line - today’s GOP is literally a cult. Its members don’t stop to assess things like what’s bad for the country. They blindly defend their cult and cult leader, come what may. Trying to get them to reason is impossible.

How exactly did you get "defending" from me stating it should be easy to prove the crime you were crying about?

I did not, and am not, defending anyone from anything. All in the world I am doing is daring to say that I, unlike you d ims/l ibs, have opted to await a charge, a trial, evidence and proof, a guilty verdict, prior to labeling someone a criminal.

How very un-American of me, right, Capt. America?

The saddest part is they won't even believe admit what has been witnessed by millions of people. This republican from GA says the day of the insurrection was just the usual day for tourist visiting the capitol.

Rep. Andrew Clyde (R-Ga.) attempted to falsely claim at a hearing Wednesday that the Jan. 6 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol never happened ― as if there were no video proof.
The Georgia congressman made his comments during a House Oversight Committee hearing on what went wrong in police preparations before the Capitol riot.
“Let me be clear: There was no insurrection,” Clyde said. “And to call it an insurrection, in my opinion, is a bold-faced lie.”

Clyde also claimed that video taken during the insurrection looked like “a normal tourist visit,” even though five people died and more than 100 police officers were injured.
Clyde’s comments were so out of touch with the actual evidence that reporter J.D. Durkin decided to contrast his claims with footage taken at the U.S. Capitol during the attack by supporters of then-President Donald Trump.
Rep. Andrew Clyde’s (R-GA) comments today don’t hold up well when played side-by-side with insurrection footage, so I made this.

the revisionist history being perpetuated by some Republicans to defend January 6th is disgusting pic.twitter.com/bWdXtU0b4F

Other people quickly called out Clyde’s B.S., including many of his House colleagues.

I was there that day, @Rep_Clyde. Presiding over the House Chamber. While we were being evacuated I saw people punching the glass doors with bare fists to get in. Desecrating America’s Capitol to obstruct Congress. Calling it a “normal tourist visit” is sickening. Shame on you. https://t.co/xzswEiBSOM
— Rep. Jim McGovern (@RepMcGovern) May 12, 2021
“A normal tourist visit.”

Police officers who responded on January 6 were stabbed, gouged, beaten, suffered broken ribs, and three are no longer with us. Republican leaders defend this kind of lying while they punish those few with the courage to tell the truth. It’s despicable. https://t.co/0duOQIXeQd
— Rep. Don Beyer (@RepDonBeyer) May 12, 2021
Republicans aren’t just trying to rewrite history. They’re telling you not to believe your eyes or trust what you saw.

Look at the videos. Listen to the staff and officers. Read the death certificates. The insurrection was anything but “normal” and it won’t be erased. https://t.co/wpDw4LCfTM
— Katherine Clark (@RepKClark) May 12, 2021
Non-politicians were also shocked by Clyde’s gaslighting.
I totally remember my many tour visits where we smashed doors and windows to enter the building and clashed with the officers...
These guys are really playing that “don’t believe your eyes” card so hard, aren’t they? https://t.co/9jsQzZGEdD
— Francesco Francavilla (@f_francavilla) May 12, 2021
These people lie with impunity. And their voters don’t give a single s**t about truth, integrity, or DEMOCRACY. https://t.co/WACaw26LLV

Rep. Clyde should have to watch this video in a room full of his constituents. https://t.co/mMqfQ3sPLe

And let’s recall that, on the day of the insurrection and the days that followed, GOP members of Congress candidly admitted that Trump incited the rampage and they criticized him heavily for his conduct.

Then, a couple of days later they all did 180’s, with rare exceptions like Cheney. It’s not that GOP leaders don’t know what Trump did, which is obvious to all honest people, it’s that they now forbid the telling of truth about it, because they think they must bow down to Trump and accept his Big Lie to protect their own hides.

Disgraceful.

The proof of Trump inciting the insurrection is on tape and tweets.
The proof of Republicans like McCarthy and McConnell, with their speeches right after, confirming that Trump incited the insurrection, is on tape.
The proof of Trump's political hacks inciting the insurrection is on tape.

It's like Americans who watched the insurrection on cable TV were wearing body cams.

Here's Sen Mitch McConnell confirming Trump incited the insurrection.

Exactly.

An easily proven insurrection.

So make the charge, go to trial, prove it, get the guilty verdict and conviction and lets move along...……...

First order of business for the FBI is arresting the rioters.
Next the FBI and DOJ will go after the enablers/provokers.
