Biden to inflict widespread evictions...

It looks to me, from a distance, that each state was supposed to come up with a plan to allow both renters and landlords to apply for funds.
Like prepping for covid, and hospitalizations, and vaccination.... Like that?

Really? You see no role for the federal government in preparing for a national disaster, like a pandemic? Let the states compete for PPE and medicines? Sounds like a windfall for the companies that could have jacked up prices.

Not according to crazies here.... It's biden's responsibility like Trump afore him...
I think the folks you refer to as "the crazies" probably don't believe that at all. Their thinking is perhaps more along the lines of "It was all Trump's fault....It can never be Biden's fault."

Your error was in applying logic. They seem to have a disdain for that.

So Biden said "it isn't a problem, it will all go away in a month or so"?

I didn't say that. But since we're in the game now...

So you assert there was arole for the states in preparation for a pandemic? As well a the federal government?

What supreme court ruling are you talking about?

The Biden administration announced Thursday it will allow a nationwide ban on evictions to expire Saturday, arguing that its hands are tied after the Supreme Court signaled the moratorium would only be extended until the end of the month.

No. Logic is anathema for many here. Meanwhile, silliness rages on. I merely play the strings...

Just adding to the heartache
Phil there was $46.5 Billion dollars sent to the States from the Fed.

I recently read that only Three billion has been disbursed to the people who need it, it's being held at the State level so in this case (sit down!) I'll side with Biden on this one, he should pressure the state to do the disbursements.

Fact is maybe it's time for a Federal audit so they have to account for the dinero and possibly jail a few greedy buggers.
