That kind of reaction of protesting the capitol at one time would have had the officials that be demanding a bi-partisan commission to count the votes (and forensically too) and prove how badly Trump lost once and for all.

Planned or not, they were aware of the fact that this election would result in millions of ballots to be delivered within a short deadline. So the concern was warranted when it seemed as if the Post Master was determined to carry out cutbacks in spite of there would be an onslaught of mail heading their way.

I absolutely agree that it is a matter of people who do not understand the process or the safeguards who seem to think the election is like everyone dropping a folded bit of paper in a hat.

It should be a priority to educate people about what happens with your ballot. How it is protected from theft or modification...how it is secured and processed.

A truly independent commission to study such things would be fine by me. For example, a commission that would debunk the insane GOP lies about Dominion. But even if such a commission provided its conclusions to the nation, the wackjob Trump supporters wouldn’t accept those conclusions, so it seems to be a waste of time.

I don't think a study is needed. Each state should provide complete documentation of the process from the time you enter a polling station or mail your ballot. If people knew the process they would understand how bizarre the accusations are.
