Yup. It’s time to call it an attempted coup

I bet you do. It's like 95 percent of the time for you.
So you have no facts, no verifiable sources and toss out a claim that I don't in response to a post with facts and a verifiable source.

No only are you uninformed, you're dishonest.

Did you read? The article clearly writes at a level unknown to the poster. It's copy and paste fantasizing with no link to source cuz it's a discredited source already.
I gave you a source. Has anyone come forward to say the letter was forged? Nope.

A discredited source? Like One America News or Russia Today or Tyler Durden and anything on ZeroHedge?

Here is Eastman's current employer defending the memo...not denying he wrote it.

Really? An investigation is the same as a prosecution?
Funny position to take given your standard for investigating the stolen election.

An impeachment is not a criminal trial...so no, there is no double jeopardy.
But this is congress doing the investigating not a law enforcement agency. Didn't Peluda do it for the impeachment. Why did they prosecute Trump and THEN investigate. Sounds like what a bunch of thumb sucker [english slang for cigarettes] would do, and like you, approve of.

There were 8 investigations into Benghazi. You aren't ashamed of that?
You aren't ashamed of Obama calling back the Benghazi rescue operation 2 or 3 times?

The impeachment was entirely about Trump inciting insurrection. Republicans refused to convict. Some because they were too loyal to the republican party or they feared Trump...some because they said it was too late, Trump was already leaving office. All bullshit excuses. Why were there no witnesses as to Trump's involvement in planning the rally or in his communication with the leaders of the riot?
Honestly, this entire response of yours couldn't be more pathetic.

You keep ignoring the number of audits and recounts that have already been done. How many more do you want? The GOP in AZ says they need another even after that crack group of Cyber Sphincters failed to find anything at all.

The impeachment could not have resulted in jail time for Trump, so no...it was not a prosecution.

A team of security people was flown from Tripoli to Benghazi. Nobody else was close enough to be of help. How does that have anything at all to do with the 8 congressional investigations?

Did you read the article?
"Claremont Institute Senior Fellow John Eastman, acting as counsel to the President of the United States at a critical stage during the 2020 elections in December 2020 and January 2021, offered legal advice that has since been maliciously misrepresented and distorted by major media outlets."

How was it misrepresented? Nobody claimed Eastman asked Pence to decertify electors. This is also from that article.

While it’s true that Eastman’s memo did not literally ask Pence to overturn the election, the document clearly provided the then-vice president the blueprint to do so.

Futhermore, because it was legal advice, it will fall under the priveledge of Attorney/Client confidentiality. Whomever released that memo should be prosecuted.
Eastman's memo was distributed to people other than just Trump.

I'm not ignoring what you call audits. I simply don't trust those auditors as I've told you at least twice. They're morely likely to destroy the evidence of wrong doing than to expose their malfeseance or complicity.

And why would anyone trust the likes of Logan and the Cyber Ninjas?

The companies doing audits were not involved in the election. They are certified auditors and their reputations are the bedrock of their businesses.

They'd have little to gain and everything to lose.

You really have an anal retentive problem with your constant appeals to cyber sphincters and this isn't the first time you've displayed such retentive behavior (I'm talking about a recent prior post of yours).

Don't you recall my wanting an audit run by bi-partisan state level commissions? I have no idea who your Arthur Anderson like ballot counters are and what their remit was. They were just as likely limited by their contract as Cyber was by court order. So NO you have no credible story.

Rebuild With Biden!
Well, why is it such a mystery and no one has yet been able to explain what Trump was doing during those three hours of "hugging and kissing by all those lovable people" as the mob scene was described by Trump during the attempted coup?

Maybe he was taking a dump. Who cares? He was not there. He didn't tell people to go break into the Capitol. There was no coup or insurrection.

I care, all of us should care. Trump can explain it for us maybe... if he's subpoenaed.
Wouldn't you like to know the extent of his loyalty to the constitution and willingness to protect our govt and elected officials as they performed their duties?

So who would you trust if not independent auditors?
