First, all eyes are on the next launch, as none other that James T Kirk...er...William Shatner literally has his ass launched in to space. Space....the final frontier. THese are the voyages of...literally gettin my ass launched in to SPACE. WOOO HOO!!
Anyway..that's cool. But while that's happening. Back here on earth....every indolent lame ass is quittin their j o b...cause...indolence still pays. and, well, the employee literally has retail and similar employers over the proverbial barrel. Job makes you think. Quit. Little too much effort for you. Quit. Can't facebook all day. well shit. Quit.
It is quite the mess. As employees are literally f**k thatting every low wage job and hitting the skids. Remedy? Fact food that costs $30 for a burger? nah. Surcharges on a restaurant tab cause the employer wont pay? nah. that'll not last.
My guess...the labor market will move in earnest to eliminate a lot of the churn, moving ever faster to such things as on-line, with to your door fulfillment. Soon it'll be a self perpetuating and worsening state and more and more quit, expecting the free $$, and the free $$ starts to wane....
