Governor
80 million people turned out to vote for someone else to be president...that is how good Trump was as a president.
Nope. 80 million voted for Trump. 30 million LEGAL voters voted for Joe. And copy machines and fraud gave Joe an office he couldn't earn legally at the ballot box.
Obama inherited a recession that drove unemployment to 10%, dropped 8% of the GDP into the toilet and nearly bankrupted two of three American car companies.
He inherited a MILD recession, one that would have cleared up in the first summer if he had done nothing. Instead, his policies turned it into the worst economy since the Great Depression

Obama turned over an unemployment rate of 4.5%.
When you make stupid statements like that, you wonder why everybody is still laughing at you. Unemployment rates are determined by the number of people filing for unemployment. They do not take into consideration the VAST number of people who just gave up trying to find a job, (especially when there weren't any.)

Even though the rate ticked up, 157,000 jobs were added - BUT 169,000 people gave up looking for work and left the job force. In Obama’s 1st term the total number of people who left the workforce is 8.5 million but fortunately for Obama those people are not counted in the unemployment figure -- if they were the unemployment rate would be 14.4%.

Unemployment Holocaust: 96,000 Jobs Added, 368,000 Give Up Hope Under Obama. For Every Job Obama Created, FOUR Bailed Out Of Declining Workforce
Joe Biden said it last night in his speech: “We’ve turned the corner.”
If you read this article, you will see how right – and yet how terribly, wickedly wrong – Joe Biden and the Obama administration truly are.
The key to understanding the official (U-3) unemployment rate is the bizarre measure by which people who are out of work are counted as “unemployed” only if they’re actively looking for a job. Only 63 percent of working-age adults are working in Obama’s God damn America. Millions of people – over 23 million – have dropped out of the work force, making this unemployment statistic not only meaningless, but cruel, as oppressed people simply don’t count any more.

The most recent employment report clearly illustrates his insensitive deception. The unemployment rate did drop from 7.0% to 6.7%, the lowest rate since October 2008. However, the rate fell almost entirely because almost 350,000 people left the workforce unable to find a job, according to figures released on January 10th by the U.S. Department of Labor. On the other hand, the U.S. economy added only a meager 74,000 jobs in December, well below estimates of what is needed for any widespread jobs recovery. In other words, about 80% of the “improvement” in the unemployment rate was because people got so discouraged with the job market they just gave up.
What was it when Trump turned it over to Biden? Was it lower or higher?
The economy was expanding. Gasoline was under $2 a gallon (in lower taxed red states). Even with the Coronavirus, businesses were opening, thanks to Trump.
And his record BEFORE the Coronavirus was the best of all time.
