More than I expect from people who follow an idiot who says windmills cause cancer or that he'll pay off the national debt in just 8 years....
Versus following a guy who can't complete a sentence, has to ask his handlers what he can say and left Americans behind to die in Afghanistan.

I'd take the former. If he doesn't pay of the debt and only gets half done, it more than your guy's handlers will do.

I am still waiting for your guy to complete a sentence.

1. Stand up, Chuck, let'em see ya."

Joe Biden, to Missouri state Sen. Chuck Graham, who is in a wheelchair, Columbia, Missouri, Sept. 12, 2008

2...first mainstream african-american who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy.

3. You cannot go to a 7-11 or a dunkin' donuts unless you have a slight indian accent.... I'm not joking.

4. "When the stock market crashed, Franklin D. Roosevelt got on the television and didn't just talk about the, you know, the princes of greed. He said, 'Look, here's what happened."

Joe Biden, apparently unaware that FDR wasn't president when the stock market crashed in 1929 and that only experimental TV sets were in use at that time, interview with Katie Couric, Sept. 22, 2008

...she's- wait- your mom's still- your mom's still alive.

So did the continental army really win by attacking British Airports? Did they look up from their victory to see the Star Spangled Banner flying over Ft. McHenry?

So Biden didn't know Chuck Graham was in a wheel chair? He didn't know someone's mom was still alive?

Is that as bad as proposing drugs to cure Covid that doctors say would be ineffective at best and harmful at worst?

If you think college is free, you're stupid.

Here's an original idea for idiots. Get a edited job.
Don't go to college unless it's for a degree that employers want.
You aren't entitled to an instant six figure salary just because you have a Sociology or Lesbian Dance Theory degree.

And you have no edited right to demand the taxpayers pay your student loan. You ran the debt up yourself.
Democrats constantly push policies that punish the savers and exalt the spendthrifts. If you are a saver of any kind Democrat policy screws you over time and again.

"Back in the mid-19th century, college in the United States was free.

"The Morrill Act of 1862 established land grant institutions.

"States would build colleges on government ground so that residents could get a free education.

"Unfortunately, times have changed, so here is a discussion on the Pros and Cons of Free Education"

https://www.ablison.com/important-pros-and-cons-of-free-education/
Free or low cost. What happened is that education got subsidized by government and drove the prices sky high. Just like government and employer subsidy drove health care prices sky high too.

There is no such thing as free college. If professors taught for free, then it would be free.
My bad... I should have said government funded/sponsored ;) I figure if you successfully dedicated six years of your life to America it's worth something, that's four active and two inactive.

Self-study should be tested and given credit. Say you're working as a nurse's aid and buy a book on organic chemistry. You read it and study it. Go online and study with other students and/or pay a group tutor for help. You then take a proctored online test at a testing center and within as little as 10 questions (maybe 40 or 50) get evaluated to a high degree of certainty for your knowledge of organic chemistry. On that basis you're given a letter grade that a state school must accept when you are accepted into the nursing program. You'd still have to take the organic lab class but you should be able to test out of 2 years with a self study program set up. Math and science predominantly so tested. This before you leave home and travel a few hundred miles to live at an Enormous State School

Online lectures too. All state paid for once and only once and leveraged for several years.

No, because if there were any credible scientific or medical sources saying the vaccine is ineffective I have not heard or seen them...

Quite different from the president or a bunch of bloggers.

Did you ever look into CLEP tests?

It really does bother me that combat medics can't qualify for EMT certification without jumping through hoops.

I largely agree. I'm also happy to tell all these cheap skates that I'm agreeable to taking 50% of everybody's salary to fund it.

College Education Is a Fraud and Should Not Be Rewarded

This thread is an example of Begging the Question, which the ambitious imbeciles who graduate from college think means, "Which leads to the question." The few truly educated people, who have not been dumbed down by the fraud of the present college education, knows it means basing a discussion on a false assumption, so that whatever conclusions are reached are unrealistic, no matter how logical they sound.

The present indentured servitude of college education must be replaced by paid professional education. Whether tuition is paid for or left up to the student and his parents limits the discussion by omitting the fact that schoolwork is work and it is work without pay. That is an insult to intelligence and fails to motivate talent. It attracts no-talent brown-noses who can't do the jobs they are hired for. They only know "how to do" the job, just like most American boys know how to play baseball but can't even make their high-school teams.

Thinking that sacrifice has merit is a self-serving lie preached by economic bullies. College life is childish, depressing, and humiliating. No one is allowed to even realize that all work should be paid for as it is worked, not four or ten years later. It's the same as telling construction workers, "This building will take a year to build. You won't get paid until it is finished."

The reward of this kind of ambition is not worth the sacrifice. It is unmanly, which is the real but never mentioned reason why the majority of college students today are female. And the majority of graduate students are foreigners, because indentured servitude is totally unAmerican.

College should not be a choice; making it so is another false assumption. College students must be chosen, recruited by firms or corporations and paid up front, just like baseball players at that age are giving a signing bonus to put themselves through baseball's equivalent of college education. What kind of talent would be lost to baseball if the superior athletes were expected to pay the minor league teams for their training and get by on low-paying off-season jobs? People are so brainwashed they don't realize that the result of this obsolete and dysfunctional institution has put inferior people in superior positions and is the chief cause of our economic failures.

That would be a good deal but I think that the medical community is infused with short sighted bureaucrats that do more harm than good, same shit for nursing from state to state.

Fifty years ago I went to college and it was free.
Fifty Years Ago, One-Third of the CEOs Had Not Gone to College. That's Why America Had a Great Economy Back Then.

But you weren't free. Schoolwork is work without pay. Not only does that make the student a slave, it also makes him an amateur. And the worst amateurs of all are the professors, who liked working without pay and stayed in college to get graduate degrees, never leaving the plantation.

I had heard that state officials consistently fight against removing limits on some medical professions like Dermatology. That fight is supported by Dermatologists and medical schools that specialize in dermatology. All intended to maximize profits.

At that time we graduated engineers...now we have lawyers and MBAs.

Not complex...You bought it, you pay for it. You could go back to your Germany and get a free education. Remember you get what you pay for. There is always a reason why it's free.
Preparation Is the Most Important Part of Production. Unpaid Preparation Is Unproductive.

Employers who don't pay college students get the employees they pay for.

Funny cuz you picked a German name and the Dutch speak a West German language.

As far as qualified people who emigrate here legally...Welcome. My mother did the same.
Who do you think qualified my ancestors who came here about 1650 or so? My dutch ancestors lived in New Amsterdam and my Irish ancestors came over on the Anne (1623) and the Sparrow (1622).

My nic is not the subject of the thread...

The Biden plan offers free community college. That's 12 years of free education in America with another 2 years added.
We need our populace educated to compete globally.
Why are trumpie/repubs against higher education?
