The increase in grocery store prices...

Deviant liberals don't care until the last possible moment. The moment they start to starve themselves. Then they look around and blame farmers first.
Many grocery store shelves are bare
Farmers producing all we can, but, we can't get it to the stores
Setting my nephew up come spring to install gardens for those that don't know how or don't have the time............for a fee of course

You two do realize we have stocks of food for almost 1 year ( not counting what sane people have in the cupboards and freezers ) in the US govt warehouses, millions of bushels of grain in grain bins, 500 million gallons of oil in caves, etc.

This immediate doomsday scenario plays well at your right wing cultist self pity meetings though doesn't it. So I guess under the greatest loser's 4 years food price's never rose a penny - you ready to be embarrassed AGAIN

Weren't the shelves bare during his admin - does toilet paper ring a bell yet ?

ahhhhh the good ole days when all the bad things are forgotten

You do realize that it doesn't matter what the government has stockpiled, normal working families are paying much more for necessities. Prices for food, fuel, and utilities were all considerably lower under the previous administration, whether you liked it or not.

... is intolerable. And Biden doesn't care. He said something about let them eat cake.

And the leftist news lays down cover for Biden by slow walking criticisms.

I have to say that I’ve read/heard many news stories on inflation, shrinkflation, etc… but I hadn’t had direct exposure to it because I don’t tend to do much shopping. Typically wifey handles that stuff. I went to Costco on Sunday afternoon and was smacked in the face by sticker shock across a host of items. Salmon was way up - beef is insanely high. Prices for food staples as well as non-food items are profoundly high.

Looks like consumer prices are tracking with our crime rates.

…but… (D) … so - there’s nothing to see here. Oh…and lest I forget… “TRUMP!!!!!!!!”

I guess here in California food prices are stable. I do not see any changes in my food budget or costs.

L.A. :

Consumer Price Index, Los Angeles area – September 2021
Area prices were up 0.3 percent over the past month, up 4.6 percent from a year ago
Prices in the Los Angeles area, as measured by the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U), increased 0.3 percent in September, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today. (See table A.) Regional Commissioner Chris Rosenlund noted that the September increase was influenced by higher prices for education and communication as well as shelter. (Data in this report are not seasonally adjusted. Accordingly, month-to-month changes may reflect seasonal influences.)

Over the last 12 months, the CPI-U increased 4.6 percent. (See chart 1 and table A.) Food prices increased 4.7 percent. Energy prices jumped 25.9 percent, largely the result of an increase in the price of gasoline. The index for all items less food and energy increased 3.0 percent over the year. (See table 1.)

Food
Food prices increased 0.6 percent for the month of September. (See table 1.) Prices for food at home advanced 0.6 percent, led by higher prices for cereals and bakery products (2.4 percent). Prices for food away from home rose 0.5 percent for the same period.

Over the year, food prices increased 4.7 percent. Prices for food at home advanced 5.3 percent since a year ago. Five of the six grocery categories recorded price increases of 3.6 percent or more, while dairy and related products prices were unchanged. Prices for food away from home rose 4.2 percent.
