Which Trump supporter believes that Trump will not lie under oath in his array of upcoming depositions ?

We all remember when Republicans proclaimed that lying under oath in a civil suit was enough to disqualify one for holding the office of POTUS. So much so that they were still ranting and raving about it two decades later in the 2016 election.

With all of these civil suits coming Trump's way, and the fact that he is a pathological liar, means we should all expect right-wingers to be equally outraged in the coming months of Trump testimony in the various rape and assault cases, not to mention the various criminal charges he is facing in multiple states.

Open wide, because I think you got a dose of your own medicine coming your way.

If Trump can lie half as much as Schiff or Nadler, I will be impressed :)

I would be impressed because that would be an incredibly low level of lying for Trump and something I do now believe to achieve while conscious.
LOL you're funny.

I don't think I can find anywhere in the past 5 years where either of them said anything truthful....anywhere.

It takes real raw talent to lie literally every time you open your mouth, and Schiff and Nadler are both exceptional at it.

Even if that were true Trump is still the bigger and more frequent liar.

His documented lying goes back 50 yrs.

To stay on topic so I don't get thread banned again, I think not one right winger thinks he can tell the truth under oath. He will forget everything that happened that day, deny knowing RUDY, Jr., Bannon and the rest of the insurrection speakers.

That is true. I wish there was a section of the PJ where posting was under oath.

I say bring back the PJ jail for that purpose and let's see which posters get LOCKED UP !

Trump's supporters know he's a pathological liar, but defend him by simply denying that fact.

I googled - history of Trump being deposed and lying under oath - and found many reports on it. Here's one that describes shenanigans he pulled to explain away his lying under oath. True con man style.

I believe this is the incident
I remember how cons defended the actions of Trump's private thugs.
Their defense of this thuggery was a warning sign that fascism had a footing in the heart of the GOP base.

And it all started when Trump rode down the escalator announcing his bid for the presidency and proceeded to give a racist, xenophobic speech that made the Republican base tingle all over. At that time, Republican officials knew Trump was a psychopath, pathological liar con man and said so publicly. But Trump won over the base, the angry white male, as he aligned with them by pointing at minorities to blame for their failure to succeed in life.

I think the idea that they were actually blaming minorities for anything is false and lets them off too easy.

They didn't need anyone to blame for the way they felt.
This is what they always believed.

It goes back to what I have always observed.

The left judges people for what they see them do.
The right judges people who they see them as.

They seek retribution, not because of what liberal have done.
They want people punished for who they are, if who they are isn't what they want.

Point to one their lies. Just one. Quote them telling a lie.

Good luck!

Trump’s approach to depositions has always stayed the same:

1. Litigate (usually for years) to avoid swearing an oath and testifying.

2. When he loses that litigation (which he almost does), he settles, unless his lies under oath cannot possibly be proven to be lies.

Of course, an honest person simply testifies. But not Donald “30,000 Lies” Trump.

Trump knew to appeal to their racism and xenophobia......which they already blamed for their plight in life. Before that, he spread the racist birth conspiracy against Obama for 5 years to warm them up for his candidacy.

Trump’s next book should be titled “How to Appeal to the Worst Instincts of Reprobates.”

And yet I still see him as more honest than any given congressional leftist. At least he didn't try and manipulate the American public with lies about Russian collusion and blackmail, or distract the country with faux impeachments while the nation was coming under a pandemic.

Sad that you support this kind of corruption.

1. He lied about the size of the inauguration crowd. That was on his first day as president.
2. He put a hold on a congressional appropriation and failed to notify congress that he'd done it. That was against the law and the charge was abuse of power for ordering that hold. Then he ordered federal employees to ignore congressional subpoenas to testify...that was obstruction. That was his first impeachment...feel free to show where that was a "faux" impeachment.
3. His second impeachment was for inciting the DC riot. The riot happened immediately after Trump spoke and told the mob to go and fight like hell to stop the process that would make Joe Biden the president.

You think the second impeachment was an attempt to distract anyone from the pandemic that started a year earlier?
