Will Aubrey get justice?

Raoul_Luke

I feel a bit lightheaded. Maybe you should drive.
Nope, that is neither close at all to what CRT says, nor a thesis that is taught in any schools. Blacks are only allowed to immigrate if they are already wealthy and educated, so the effects of race discrimination don’t hold them back from opportunities to the extent they do for working-class Blacks born here.
I notice you serially avoid defining what, exactly, you believe CRT is. Because, of course, then you would expose the fact that you are simply running interference for it.

That is absurd - those from Haiti and Jamaica are not typically wealthy. As Winsome Sears points out, her father came to America with a few bucks in his pocket, got three jobs, and stressed to his children the importance of education. That's how you succeed in America, not sitting around in your government supplied housing, eating your government supplied cheetos, watching your government supplied TV, bitching about how "the man is keeping you down."

This is a perfect illustration of liberal cluelessness when it comes to guns & law enforcement. Here is your tutoring session. Read slowly >>

1. Betty Shelby was improperly arrested for first-degree manslaughter after the shooting was politically labeled a homicide. "politically" becasue the loudmouth idiots of BLM and the ACLU threatened protests (possibly rioting).
What actually happened was Crutcher (like everyone else undereducated in America's schools run by clueless liberals), having no idea how to act in confrontation with police (not taught in our schools), made the HUGE mistake of putting his hand inside the SUV window, thereby allowing it to disappear from the officer's view.
This will always cause the suspect to be immediately shot, as standard police academy training is to shoot whenever hand(s) disappear from view. This is because it takes a suspect 1/4 second to fire a gun from the previously hidden hand. The officer has no time to react. Thus, only defense is to fire, when the hand disappears.
This is the cause of many police shootings (Jacob Blake, Laquan McDonald, Yanez Jeronimo, Philip Brailsford, & hundreds more)
I also received this training in the National Guard.

2. Didn't matter that someone filmed the Slager/Scott shooting. All the video did was show that Slager did the correct thing, shooting Scott, as the Fleeing Felon Rule, requires cops to shoot fleeing felons to prevent them from escaping out into the community, where they could cause harm.
Only reason Slager was charged and convicted, is because N. Charleston is a black majority community, and those charging him were concerned with VOTES, not justice (same as the Arbery case in which Brunswick, GA is 60% black, 32% white.

3. FALSE! There is no video showing Chauvin to be kneeling on Floyd's neck. Video shows Chauvin's knee on Floyd's HEAD. I don't know what you consider to be false in Chauvin's report, and I suspect you don't know either.
The arrest never had a compression on Floyd's neck, and never had any asphyxiation.
The Hennepin County’s chief medical examiner, Dr. Andrew Baker was INTIMIDATED AND COERCED into including neck compression in his diagnosis of Floyd’s death.
The exhibit in question is a three-page file memorandum that memorializes a November 5, 2020 conference between Dr. Roger Mitchell, former Washington D.C. chief medical examiner and deputy mayor of Washington, and several prosecutors from both Hennepin County and the state attorney general’s office.
The result was a false report.

2. Why are you claiming Scott was a fleeing felon? He wasn't. I have no idea why he ran away, but Scott stopped him for a brake light. Slager fired 8 rounds at Scott, hit him 5 times and then planted his taser by Scott's body. A jury found him guilty.

The video shows part of the incident...but that is enough for a person with a limited attention span to convince himself that Arbery was the aggressor. You don't see them following him, swerving into him to cut off his path and force him off the road. It is beyond your ability to process their own testimony to realize what they did was illegal.

GUILTY of 9 counts...Travis will get life in jail.
You are avoiding that the charge is MURDER (& manslaughter), not stalking.

The murder charge has to do with the SHOOTING, and that came as a result of Arbery changing his direction of travel, deliberately lunging at Travis, fighting him, ATTACKING him. Again & again, all this blabbering abut the truck here, the trucking there, chasing, bla bla bla, is all red herring deflection, from Arbery's ATTACK on Travis. ho hum.

As for life in jail, not fast, there will be appeals. If that gets away from Brunswick, and is not in another black majority populated area, and no racial-political intimidation, the 3 convicted men will have an excellent chance of being acquitted, AND become rich, from lawsuits against those who falsely imprisoned them.

You seem to think there was a legal reason to threaten Arbery. There was not. You are not permitted to pull a gun on someone and order them to halt unless you see them as a threat or committing a crime. Neither describe what Arbery was doing. He was jogging.
Running while black is not a crime. Clearly the actions of McMichaels and Bryan were attempts to corner Arbery. Arbery was actually hit by Bryan's truck in an attempt to force him to stop.

You ignore the McMichaels testimony that they tried to get him to stop several times...then pulled ahead of him to block his path.

If police are taught to shoot first and ask questions later, all that means is that the brutality is systematic and planned at the organizational level. Chauvin was clearly kneeling on Floyd’s neck in the video, as pointed out by several in the crowd.

This is from the Center Square source.

CRT has quickly become a catchall term used by some conservative lawmakers and activists to describe various state and local efforts to create equity policies or diverse curriculums in K-12 schools.

Port Huron Republican Andrew Beeler, a lead sponsor of the House bill, recently said he was careful not to invoke the term “critical race theory” in his proposed legislation as other conservatives across the country have used to condemn curricula they deem too liberal.

“The reason I don’t use that language in this bill is because it means too many different things to too many different people,” Beeler said.

The real problem is the use of "Critical Race Theory" in describing everything and anything having to do with race. Tell me what are they teaching in Detroit that offends you?

CRT is a college level set of curriculum typically taught at law schools and has to do with discussing the legal framework for Jim Crow laws and legislation that allowed red lining or home ownership prohibitions that kept blacks out, kept black farmers from getting credit from federal agencies and kept blacks from integrating schools and business.

Vitti reiterated that the district embraces the basic tenets of CRT as part of its 2020 anti-racism resolution to reexamine district-wide policies and curriculum and encourage students and teachers to critically analyze dominant historical narratives and question institutions of power.

"Basic Tenets"? What, exactly, does that mean to you? Clearly not what it means to me.

Again, CRT is a theory of legal hermeneutics that stresses that facially race-neutral laws often have their origins in white supremacist politics and help maintain social patterns of white supremacy.

It’s called self-defense on Arbery’s part. If in the course of committing a lesser crime you end up killing someone, that’s felony murder.

No, I don't "seem to think" there was a legal reason to threaten Arbery. That's because nobody threatened him, so why talk about that ? (Strike 1)

Secondly, nobody "pulled a gun" on anybody. If Arbery would have kept running, instead of attacking Travis, he would have had nothing to do with Travis' gun. Travis just had his gun with him - perfectly legal, and sensible, as events obviously proved. (Strike 2)

Travis did not order Arbery to halt - in fact he said "please" when he asked him to stop. (strike 3)

The video does not indictate any attempt to "corner" Arbery. In fact, it was Arbery who was running right toward Travis, while still about 30 feet from the truck. Look at the video. (strike 4)

I saw a variety of videos. I have not seen any that show Arbery being hit by a truck.

There is no law against somebody trying to get another person to stop running (by asking "Please stop" (strike 5)

The McMicheals were not trying to block Arbery's path. He had plenty of room on both sides of the truck to run, and could easily have kept on running. (strike 6)

1. No, it does NOT mean that at all. It means, as I pointed out, that in order for police to be safe, they must shoot if/whenever suspect's hands disappear from cop's view. Cops have no time to defend themselves, if suspect suddenly pulls a gun, and fires.

2. Chauvin was clearly NOT kneeling on Floyd’s neck in the video, as pointed out by the video.

Affirmative action means that there is still discrimination favoring whites, just not quite as much as there had been prior.
Bullshit. Affirmative Action has no redeeming excuse. It is out & out discrimination against whites, and in favor of blacks. It is 100% illegal, in violation of the 1964 civil rights law.

Sure it's taught in laws shools. CRT is also taught in all levels of school from 1st grade and up, teaching that whites are racist, and they oppress blacks. This was proven 100% by thousands of parents seeing it on their kids' computers, at home.

It teaches hate against whites, against America, and against police.

Another thing that would make cops much safer is if they became the allies of civilized society rather than its enemies. But that would require redistribution of the means of production.
