We have imagery and sensors that that determine feelings of pain. We have the almost complete de-stigmatization of pregnancy out of wedlock. We have highly effective birth control and of course early sex ed. The moral case that induced abortion after implantation is murder is reasonable.

I don't know all the laws but they were not by default illegal. There is common law precedent predating 1778 that effectively reserves the states' rights to regulate abortion. Laws made during that 1800's maintained that legal right by the states. Privacy is an absurd argument for a constitutional right to abortion.

Privacy is very much a right. Abortion is very much a right as guaranteed by the 9th Amendment and the 14th Amendment.

The point is that judges don’t issue orders to the Executive Branch except to require officials to do as they are legally obliged.
