Another Trump record shattered.

Okay, it was rated as partly false according to the read.
Biden's messaging on vaccination seems quite consistent, despite all the naysayers. It's up to those downplaying the virus and refusing to be vaccinated to follow the guidelines.
Even Trump describes those refusing to be boosted as gutless. That seems like a big switcheroo from months ago. That's a big change from his days of being vaccinated in private.

Our rating: Partly false
Based on our research, the claim that President Trump fired the "entire" pandemic response team is PARTLY FALSE. The Directorate of Global Health Security and Biodefense was disbanded under Trump's then-national security adviser John Bolton. But Trump didn't fire its members. Some resigned, and others moved to different units on the National Security Council.
Yes, agreed. Although the point remains that though the pandemic response team was disassembled, it is false the state that we were completely unprepared or understand. Everybody agrees that there was bloat that have to be cut, individuals left the administration, others were reassigned.. perpetuating the false that there was none, is simply partisan politics and serves nobody

It was rated as partly false...

This could mean the part linked below could be the rest of the story, :)

Trump team failed to follow NSC’s pandemic playbook
The 69-page document, finished in 2016, provided a step by step list of priorities – which were then ignored by the administration.

The fact remains that, if Trump had not disbanded our pandemic response team (to “save money,” as he put it), we would have been much better prepared, and far earlier, than without that team in place. It was an incredibly foolish thing to do.

Yes... Posters here say that's because of a lack of clairvoyance..and not over doing it....same as they now allow Biden...

That was another big part of the tragically inept Trump response to Covid. The pandemic playbook was available to him, but he ignored it. For purely ideological/partisan reasons Trump ignored everything that was handed off by the Obama transition team. Trump likes to say he prefers “following his instincts.” His instincts on Covid were horrendous - the worst in the world.

Nope. Nobody has criticized Trump for not predicting the emergence of Covid. There are hundreds of Covid-related things to criticize him about.

His gut feelings sure didn't save any lives -- that's for sure.

As the articles state there were adequate resources

The “standard”….yer a hoot!

Or maybe you can articulate that “standard”?
Here we have the board troll again spamming the same question over and over again no matter how many times it is answered. DNC HQ is backed up on talking points issuance...hack trolls instructed to simply conduct "internet jamming" campaign...

This one simply pretends he already provided the “standard” he’s yapping about. Instead of, like, just providing it.

Deplorable!

No, he would have had to agree on a policy placed before him earlier to ramp up test kit manufacturing. Biden DECLINED to do so.

…and his partisan lackeys are now arguing that Biden need only REACT to what happens rather than prepare for it. Gee whiz, you guys are certainly consistent. That’s exactly what you ‘human shielded’ his predecessor for, right?

Lordy - ZERO credibility. NONE.
What part about having had to make the order the day the virus was discovered escapes you ?

The current policy would not have provided enough test kits to handle this record-breaking surge, or else there would never have been a shortage in the first place.

Lordy !

What was your expectation when the virus was not yet present in America...?
That it would eventually get here.
That it might escape vaccines.
Did not know how contagious it was until later when records were being broken in small European countries.

Nope. The policy provision that he DECLINED to sign off on was before the latest iteration of variant (of course this is irrelevant regardless - Biden selected a reactive rather than proactive posture with regard to test kits…to the adulation of sycophants). Lefty human shields are indefatigable.

These human shields are without shame, eh? Biden didn’t need to plan or approve stepped up test kit manufacturing because we weren’t late yet. Geeze.
