Nope. They can be bad AND you can be bad. That is, in essence, where I stand with respect to the Republican and Democratic Parties - and I’ve shared that with you literally dozens of times. Yet here you are lobbing the same old dishonest trash…so bye.
You post attempts at claiming to be non-partisan...and then call any attempt to prosecute rioters from Jan 6 the product of some disreputable attempt at revenge...
Why do you think it vengeful to want criminal acts investigated and prosecuted?

Yawn. For the millionth time, I’m a very conservative traditionalist libertarianish guy. I attack collectivists more than moron Republicans for the obvious reasons.

Go away and try to remember this for more than ten minutes (yes, impossible I know).

18 U.S. Code § 2384 - Seditious conspiracy
If two or more persons in any State or Territory, or in any place subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, conspire to overthrow, put down, or to destroy by force the Government of the United States, or to levy war against them, or to oppose by force the authority thereof, or by force to prevent, hinder, or delay the execution of any law of the United States, or by force to seize, take, or possess any property of the United States contrary to the authority thereof, they shall each be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty years, or both.

It's about time the started to use the S word.

Sedition is the modern law/word for Treason.

Trump et al's coordination, planning and plotting to overturn the election sure fits the crime of Seditious Conspiracy. No need for the crime to be completed for the charges to hold.

So only "collectivists" want the crimes of Jan 6 investigated and you "conservative, traditionalists" would prefer to just let it go and move on....right?

Still want to go with the thought that anyone who wants an investigation into the insurrection is vengeful and lacks humility?

Are the Dems foisting a lying that the election was stolen, when it clearly was not.
Are the Dems making it their mission to oppose efforts to keep people alive for partisan purposes.

If anything, even if you believe their efforts are misguided, you don't see one side pull out all the stops to oppose the other just to oppose them.

Do you really believe that if somehow the Democrats had produced a Trump and somehow he had been elected, that they would given him a pass on all the shite he's done. BC was radio active because he lied about an affair.

Biden was tossed out of the primaries because he used a line from someone else's speech. Gary Hart because it was suggested he had an affair on a boat.
(Even though that turned out to be a Karl Rove plot to smear him)

Could a Democrat call fallen soldiers suckers and loser and still have the support of the party ? The White House a dump, or compare our troops to Putin's thugs.

Would Dems all do a 180 in front of the public about an attack on our country and still be supported by the base in spite of public comments to the contrary that are barely a year old.

You can not say that and be honest with yourself. Because the party is not a cult of personality. A party is only as sane as its leadership.

I am not married to the Democratic Party.
I'd toss them under the bus in a heartbeat and become as anti Dem as in GOPer if they did what the GOP does and has done.

They are not the same no matter how many times you claim they are.

I know nothing I say will ever change your mind.
But at least you can acknowledge there is something very different going on in the GOP. And that a party with members who encourage picking up guns against their fellow citizen is trying to lead the country down the worst road imaginable.

That’s stupid. How many times have I posted “go ahead” regarding investigation here. You leftists are awful.

You re-read it - and read the embittered post to which I responded.
And sweat them to give up the other traitors who were in on the conspiracy too.
Ok. Fine. You don’t sound like a liberal though. Sweaty, vengeful, bitter, vindictive, yes. But how different are you - at this point - from…well…nevermind.

"sweaty, vengeful, bitter, vindictive"? Really? You clearly want the investigation to end with the people who were at the bottom...doing the wishes of the ex-pres...and would prefer it end without indicting those who incited the riot.

Invent whatever you want, weirdo. As for what I’m on record actually posting (repeatedly) is “go ahead”. I do think the House thing is stupid political theater, but you guys enjoy it. I don’t care.

Of course you do...

Would you care to find out that the Trump campaign contributed a few million bucks to get thousands of people to DC for Jan 6th?

Wouldn't you want to know if the Trump campaign was in contact with the leaders of the Oathkeepers, Proud Boys, Identity Europa, 3 percenters and other right wing extremist groups about the potential for "stopping the steal" by interfering with the count of electors? Do you honestly think it legitimate to have a team of lawyers trying to come up with ways to appoint a selection of electors that were not chosen in the election, just so Trump could stay in power?

This kind of attempted power play has never happened in our history and I want to make sure it never happens again and that those involved at the top are never allowed to work in government and never collect government pensions as a reward for their treachery.

The FBI had the ball on this. The Congressional stuff is, of course, political theater for morons and hacks.

The FBI investigation was limited to the over 700 individuals filmed or photgraphed in the capitol. They did not interview Trump, Meadows, Jordan, Giuliani, Alex Jones...

Why not? The congress has the responsibility of providing oversight over the executive branch.

They could have. They still could. Who’s driving the Executive Branch and the DOJ anyway…

I feel a bit lightheaded. Maybe you should drive.
Now all the DOJ has to do is tie a bunch of GQP 22 candidates to the Oaf Keepers, arrest them 2 weeks before the midterms and dems keep house senate causing MAGA heads to explode nationwide.

sigh ...
From your lips to God's ear. Did you even for two seconds while you were composing that post consider that it is a really damning indictment of the neo-fascist movement that the only way they can remain in power is by jailing the opposition? Hahahahaha!
