Uh oh! Masks don't work.

Drumcollie

* See DC's list of Kook posters*
I bought masks for my employees and family. I got both surgical masks and N95s...no cloth masks.

There was never a "cloth" mandate....and I certainly never said anything positive about cloth masks. Either admit you lied or find an example. It amazes me that you'd continue to lie, Raoul...since it is easy to search PJ.

The surgical masks can reduce escaping particles by 50%. N95's by 75% or more.
Surgical masks don't work.

Um..again with the cloth masks? Yes.. they've always been the least effective
But, they're the only fashion mask and can be ordered with any prints wanted or to match outfits...........is why millions sold...N95's are not cool to the cool folks.

I seem to recall you being a big cheerleader for mask mandates in the early months when we were specifically instructed to eschew N95 and surgical masks. Is that support for a cloth mask mandate? I say let the readers decide. Regardless, whenever it was that you decided to only support mask mandates that require surgical (which really aren't much better than the "facial decoration" in the form of cloth masks) or N95 masks, whether that was back when we were instructed to avoid trying to acquire them, or more recently, can we not agree at least that the fact that N95 masks protect the wearer puts the BS in the ("my mask protects you, your mask protects me") mask mandates?
Your memory stinks.

Surgical masks reduce particulate matter by 50%. If you are good about fitting it tightly it does better...if you wear it under your nose..not so much.

Do we agree that many people are pretty much passive agressive about it? Yes.

Surgical masks were plentiful. N95 not so much. I bought several hundred.
I saw a tester who was an expert on fluid dynamics as well as an engineering student and he built a mannequin to express matter that was measured to approximate what someone might expel in a cough. Unmasked it went as far as 12 ft. Surgical masks had a tendency to allow particles to go vertical around the nose or depending on the fit, back towards the ears if the mask was gapped near your cheek bones.
Tell us how they did work when we just had the worst week ever.
you have to wear them.

Majority do not wear them correct and you would know that if you ever got out of your safe room and went outside and your story always changes of how many mask YOU have bought and now it's "several hundred" :)

99% don't wear them Correct
Evidently not in Colorado and that must be why EMT's are ordered to NOT take patients to the hospitals (state order) unless deathly sick due to hospitals being almost full and patients having to stay in ambulance sometimes for hours before being checked into hospital.

Colorado EMS staff have been instructed to only transport individuals with the most severe cases of COVID-19 (msn.com)
we went to the RV show and half of the people were not wearing masks.

See why the EMT order and unless you were posting in PJ while at RV show your time shows you haven't been anywhere

Joe should have ordered mask back in July or on 1-21-2021
