Please, Republicans, let's try to keep our dystopian futures in the fiction section.

OMG she's so right. Forget the roving bands of lefties burning down our neighborhoods or threatening Supreme court justices if they don't get their way, or the fact that people now have to chose between heat and food because of the skyrocketing inflation, or the threat of nuclear war with Russia, or the invasion of our southern border.

Nope, what will usher in our dystopian future is women having to limit their ability to kill unborn babies. :)

Can you show me these neighborhoods being burned down in antiabortion protest ?

Or did you just do what you accuse others of doing when you lose a debate.

I mean, did you just LIE about neighborhoods being burned ?

We will move on to the rest of your rant as soon as we clear up this statement of yours.

Okay, lets start with your lie about my saying anything about anti-abortion protests and we can work from there.

Yes, that. highlight "anti-abortion protests" in that sentence. I'll wait. :)
Oh if that is the case then you wingers have nothing to say on this topic.
Because one of your judges threatened the public in his confirmation hearing.
In particular, he pledged revenge against the Democratic Party.
Apparently, he is now carrying out that threat with his vote on Roe.

"Perhaps the most chilling line in Kavanaugh's speech was, 'what goes around, comes around.' He did not say it with any evident sadness, nor did he renounce it as a value," Jonathan Chait wrote in New York magazine. "Here was a man apparently threatening revenge on his political enemies, and asking for a lifetime appointment with supreme power of judicial review with which to do it."

That some dystopian sh*t right there.

Now that we have cleared up the real dystopianism surrounding judges is still a right wing creation.

Now let's move on to burning things.

Because as we know from one of the most famous books on a dystopian future.
Burning a particular set of items was a sure sign we are headed there.

School Library Bill Advances, Sponsor Suggests Book Burning
Tennessee Republicans have advanced legislation that would place more scrutiny over what books are placed in public schools libraries just moments after the bill’s House sponsor said any inappropriate book should be burned.

Ah, so because some democrat stooge took an innocuous line from Kavanaugh after the poor man had to defend himself against false accusations of serial rape as an "apparently" threatening line, It's okay for lefties to threaten the lives of Supreme court justices. Got it.

I suppose, so long as the excuse the fascist left makes up is compelling enough for them, they can justify anything. We are talking about the "words equal violence" crowd, after all.

Innocuous line, my ass, that was a direct threat.

He didn't have to do anything.
But he did threaten an entire party after lying about them in his opening speech.
Then he proceeded to perjure himself on multiple occasions.
Save your poor man pity party for someone who didn't see it happen.

Your wingers are already living up to two different literary works of a dystopian future, and if you aren't stopped, you will create one more terrible and unforeseen than fiction has yet imagined.

Keep burning your books, and trying to destroy democracy with your plots and schemes, and you will likely succeed at it.

Make up whatever lies you need to in order to justify breaking federal law and threatening the lives of Supreme court justices. As I keep saying, you people aren't fit to live in a civilized society.

Great job. :)

That federal law is BS and unconstitutional.

The right to free assemble and protest in the Constitution is the real federal law.

Every protest against govt action is a protest meant to change the government or it's officials decisions.

They might as well make a law that says you can not protest any govt official.
I suppose you authoritarian types love that idea.

Sounds like we should be proactive about pre-empting the right via the socialist revolution that takes political and economic power from the capitalists who support them.

I don't want to live in a country with large caliber bullet wholes in the walls and no electricity.

Stop with the revolution stuff.
We've all seen what Afghanistan looks like.
Do you want to get the entire population with a 1000 yard stare ?

No revolutions

Afghanistan looks like the kind of typical capitalist country you get when the middle classes are too afraid of breaking eggs to make a socialist omelette. The USSR was on the other hand, despite all the dangers besetting it due to socialist immaturity, the first large country to have universal access to electricity.

Yeah, I suppose the people who have something to lose based upon their decision are afraid to break eggs.

The rich will have it taken
The poor have nothing to take

It the folks in the middle of those two who HAVE to worry.

Because they are the one of the three who stand the chance of gaining nothing and losing everything, at the same time, regardless of the outcome.

The middle classes can join the proletarian revolution and see their greatest enemies, the gran bourgeoisie, defeated; or they can drift along with the status quo and see themselves herded toward fascism, dictatorship, war, depression, and environmental devastation by the capitalist market and the states that serve it.
