North Korea: economy outperformed South Korean economy for decades despite unprecedented levels of bombing, before decades of counterrevolutionary government and underlying backwardness caused the progress to halt. Provided advanced technical assistance to many African and Asian countries and achieved the highest literacy rate in the world. Eliminated taxation.
East Germany: first country to eliminate homelessness. Provided advanced technical assistance to many African countries.
