Obviously there are counterrevolutionary unions, labor parties, and workers’ states. But class independence in and of itself impels organs of social power in a revolutionary direction (indeed, the counterrevolutionary regression represents a loss of class independence). And bourgeois organizations are by definition counterrevolutionary.
Do you think there would have been a tea party without a Republican Party ?

Because what you see now is that revolutionary group RUNNING THIS COUNTRY NOW.

They only call it the Republican Party, so that it appears familiar and palatable to the masses.

LOL I answered it in so many words. As usual, you're a waste of time.
You answered it to you and yours satisfaction, pushing the truth out the door.

pssst, that continues to show right wing intent by showing how right wing narcissism trumps logic (pun intended)

Do you think there would be a Republican Party without capitalism? What you are seeing is the metastasis of capitalist class rule.

Capitalism, Socialism, Communism, they are just names for who gets to decide how the loot is split after the caper.

Any of and all of them would and will collapse the exact same way.
Because the fault isn't with them. The real problem is human beings.

If you believe an economic system is going to change that you are fooling yourself.
I guarantee you if we had a just, fair and benevolent king and court.
We'd all be (you included) royalist, loyal and true to our lords and ladies.

But sadly, it is in our nature to **** each other over, and create class division, regardless of the system at hand.

No. Class division is a symptom of class society. The transition to communism is the elimination of class society, because there is a fundamental change from capitalist society not only in relations of distribution but more fundamentally in relations of production.

Capitalist production: by alienated workers exploited by private or increasingly by state capital, and by farmers and other petty owner-producers exploited by rentier and finance capital, “from each according to their need.”
Capitalist distribution: concentration of wealth in the hands of the already wealthy, with subsistence level remuneration for those workers productive enough to purchase their right to exist another day with their blood, toil, tears, and sweat. “To each according to their wealth.”

Socialist production: equal liability of all to labor; general exploitation of all by a workers’ state; alienation beginning to be ameliorated. “From each according to their ability.”
Socialist distribution: the most productive are rewarded proportionally to their socially necessary labor. “To each according to their contribution.”

Communist production: reorganization of all production on the basis of voluntary, uncoerced cooperation. “Labor” as we know it is replaced by the natural enjoyment of creation. Exploitation of labor abolished alongside sexual exploitation of women and children and other features of patriarchal class society. “From each according to their ability.”
Communist distribution: voluntary cooperation to make sure that none is left behind. “To each according to their needs.”

Yeah ?
Let me know when you round up 300 million rational, trusting human beings to replace the current population.

Then sit back and still watch the 300 of them closest to the money screw the rest over.

Capitalism works on us because it promises people everything based on the belief that it's your fault when it does not deliver.

Pretty much the same scam they use in Vegas, and it works.

In other words, no answer except the one you want will be satisfactory.

Don't care.

Still subjective, and Princeton gerrymandering project is a highly partisan source. On top of that, what indicates that this criteria was used by Princeton in the first place.

You're grasping, as usual.
No. It’s not subjective. The criteria (described in the linked paper by the researchers who developed it who are leading the Princeton project team) are purely mathematical.

What changes people is living through crises, especially ongoing social revolutions.

Prove it.

From what I am seeing, all you're doing is throwing stuff out hoping something will stick. 2 entirely unrelated articles doesn't mean anything.

You always omit the democrats

Have wealthy Democratic elites abandoned the working class? (msn.com)

More democrat talking point programming.

Democrats thrive on gerrymandering just as much if not more than republicans.
Democrats specifically INVENTED gerrymandering. They have ALWAYS been the creator and, by far, chief practitioner. These leftists always expect the opposition to have hands tied while they go to town on every tactic.

The methodology used by Princeton? Or a random methodology that just happened to pop up on your search?

Again, just because some outfit came up with a methodology, and much of that methodology is subjective, by the way, that does not mean that anyone uses it. Or that it's even a valid methodology.

Your side is notorious for making up invalid criteria in order to support your biased presuppositions.

What changes people is living through crises, especially ongoing social revolutions.
Ultimately, it's easier to release the hounds than it is to call them back.
Don't lay all your hopes on positive change because sometimes crisis and revolution changes them for the worse.
