What Do You Think of Hitler's Paintings ?

If I were to write much of anything about the hundreds of paintings of Adolph Hitler, it would tend to influence people's answers to the question of the title of this thread. I'll just leave it at the title.

When responding, please state how many of Hitler's paintings you have seen (readily available for view on the internet), and what type they are (landscape, architecture, still life, etc).

There's lots of speculation some of those are Hitler fakes.
Watching this movie below awhile back was a real mind opener, based on a true story detailing money laundering through artworks.

Adolf Hitler felt humiliated by modern art, and he was determined to exact his revenge. Rejected for admission to art school in Vienna as a painter, he rationalized that it was the fault of the era, and not his mediocre skill, that denied him his deserved future as a great artist. As early as his writing of Mein Kampf, he railed against the “degeneracy” of contemporary art as opposed to the older, more traditional art of Northern Europe, which he praised for its Germanic authenticity.

I thought the same thing.

Why an interest?

I have seen a bunch of them….Not bad but nothing special…Have you ever heard Charles Manson’s music? One pretty nice song….Look At Your Game Girl….Look it up and listen on YouTube.

Honestly I think they’re pretty good based on what Google images gives back. They kind of remind me of Thomas Kinkade, who I know a lot of people hate but I sort of enjoy. They are visual candy, pleasant to look at, probably not too deep. Too bad he didn’t stick to painting.

These are all quite good although my favorite is the bottom one which is least like the others. Reminiscent of Matisse. If I had the money I’d be tempted.
