Surprise, Surprise. The lefty elitist snobs at Martha's Vineyard won't house the immigrants.

Is the mass influx, unabated, into southern regions chaotic? It is equally not helpful or constructive to pretend it's not chaotic there. Which I think is the point
What chaos is there that isn’t caused by the lack of quick, easy naturalization?

That's the point I have been trying to make, places like Del Rio with 10k Haitians living under a bridge but we are supposed to be horrified that MV can't take care of 50 people (who didn't actually because they called the National Guard)...... no regard for the people who live and work in Del Rio not to mention the 10k human beings being forced to live under a bridge.....Federal Goverment can drop these people off anywhere they want, and not even notify local authorities most the time........

The Double standard is infuriating and nauseating and they have been exposed.
But as a matter of fact the federal government has gone out of its way to take people from places like Texas which make them sleep under bridges to places like New York where they are welcomed, no?

Ok. Scenario..500,000 are naturalized in one day....

where are they housed? Fed? Care? Schooling? Safety?
By the time they get naturalized they are typically working and self-sufficient.

That said, the system is completely broken. Chaos is inevitable.

The former: transporting people through treacherous fraudulent inducements, without warning, to a place without the resources to provide them with shelter.
The latter: openly transporting people with their consent to a facility that has stepped up to meet their needs.
No.

They both packed 'em on a bus to get rid of them.

Period.

Quit spinning.

Even though they are the cause of this fiasco.

The same place the undocumented immigrants putatively coming over at the same rate access those services, with fewer complications due to legally required discrimination. To address the overarching crisis of shortages of housing, food, etc., facing the natural-born and immigrants alike will require an economic program of intelligent state planning.

How is it “spreading the support” to transfer people from a well-provisioned part of a state with a lower immigrant population rate to an unprepared part of a state with a higher immigrant population rate?

What do you think Martha’s Vineyard should have done? Kept them there forcibly although they had no means of procuring food or shelter, until they starved to death?

There is no food or shelter in Martha's Vineyard?

Goodness...All of those who live there are doomed....They must be bussed out immediately.

Either that or you have no valid point.

It’s not a permanent settlement. It’s a secluded vacation resort. There are enough resources to put someone up there for a few days … as was done for the refugees … not to provide the months of shelter the refugees will require.

Really? So is your point being that the migrants should just pitch tents somewhere and food will come to them from local restaurants and grocery stores?

Offering them resources at the Joint Base was wrong...says you. Should they have shipped them back to Texas?
