Damn right Rick. Brandon really fvcked over Puerto Rico and these shirt lifting, gay, authoritarian libruls won’t come right out and say it. Instead their societal telescoping, accountability office holding leads them to lift their shirts and virtue signaling. It’s a dog gone shame, I tell ya! If only everybody could see things as clearly as you and Sick of God of War. We would have much less virtue shirt lifting and more swell stuff here in America. I’m in dammit, sign me up!
Look. I know you guys hate it when YOUR established standard is applied to YOUR guys. This is just how it’s gonna be. I mean…it’s not like I posted that Joe Biden “is complicit in hurricane” Ian…right?

Mirrors, leftydudes. Invest in some. The reduction in shaving injuries alone is worth it…

It says only fraction of the monies were spent. Initially on cleanup, and a little bit more on restoring utilities. Nothing on upgrading or improving or safeguarding or buttressing or preparing... Just pointing at those private and public entities, which the very article says aren't able to achieve it.
Considerably MORE covid deaths under Biden than under Trump (despite Biden having access to vaccines for the WHOLE of his term)? “Trump is complicit in deaths”, Biden is not.

Devastating current hurricane VASTLY more powerful than that which occurred during Trump’s presidency? “Trump is complicit in hurricane”, Biden is not.

Puerto Rico languishes post-hurricane? “Trump is evil and doesn’t care about the brown-skinned”, Biden is perfect.

Russia invades Crimea under Obama/Biden, and invades Ukraine under Biden/Harris while largely NOT engaging in profound conquests under Trump? “Trump is a Russian asset”, Obama and Biden merit NO critique ever.

Etc., etc., etc. We could LIGHT UP THIS PAGE with hundreds and hundreds more absurd data points and the PJ Democrats’ ceremonial licking of windows would continue unabated. These people are mindless propagandist hack stooges. That. Is. All.

Be specific. When was this and where?
Here’s an article from Biden’s own government and in 10 months after Biden became president
“Puerto Rico electric system has been in very bad shape because of lack of investment in the power plants and in the transmission and distribution line.”

There is also his current failure to call upon the Cubans for the help they would no doubt provide if asked … notice they always manage to get the power back on quickly after their disasters.

It’s bizarre. Unless the guy/party is definitive object of your religious WORSHIP, it is easy to simply write, “Yeah, he kinda blew it in that one”.

It just isn’t difficult. I don’t get it.

Proof of what.? Ample reference above to billions not provided and finger pointing at the residents of PR as the bottleneck...hampering restoration and improvement. Yup..even in the current administration.

Proof of?

I'm looking for evidence that the Biden administration has hampered the recovery in PR.

The hurricane that hit in September 2017 destroyed 80% of Puerto Rico's electrical grid.
Fema had billions allocated for recovery, but estimates are that about 1/5th was spent. About half of the population still has no electricity.

Massive amounts of money have been committed but only a fraction has been spent. As of this August, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has allocated roughly $28 billion in funding. Just $5.3 billion—less than one fifth—has been spent. Of that, the large majority was on emergency repair work such as debris removal. The amount spent on permanent projects like rebuilding roads, bridges, schools, hospitals, and utilities was just $407 million. When it comes to the energy grid, the situation is even worse. FEMA has a $13.2 billion budget for utility projects post-Maria. Five years into the recovery, the amount spent on upgrading Puerto Rico’s utilities is just $40.3 million.

See? They even leverage an observation that condemns THEM…as if it validates their stance. Zero vision - no capacity for even modest humility. It simply cannot be said/written.

They really DO have their politicians and party on a pedestal WELL beyond a point that is healthy (or normal).

But..anyway...nothing was really addressed in PR to even prepare them to withstand another, or repair infrastructure adequately from the prior
And ...what ...is it forbidden to notice??
Really? Did I tell you your criticism is forbidden?

Really? Who said it was supposed to have been fixed instantaneously?
Go up to that little search window on the right and go read that post things from hurricane Maria. Trump wasn't fast enough, didn't send enough, didn't a lot enough, didn't do enough, ad nauseam

Here's what one example.

Where are all of our concerned posters making similar comparisons today? That's the exercise of this thread. They're nowhere that's where. Because their zealots.
