These midterms have given those with courage to finally: Dump Trump.

Well to be honest Jack, if the Republicans had repudiated Bush (before Trump) I don't think it would have made a difference in how I voted over the years. Same goes with Trump. It's the policy agenda, more specifically the relative differences in the two parties' agendas, that drives my vote.

But having said that, I just listened to Rick Santorum present a master class on the logic for abandoning Trump to Rob Schmitt. It was a compelling argument. The sooner the better (obviously).

There were some bright spots for the Republicans, and they can come storming back in 2024. But not if Trump chooses to burn the party down on his way out the door. He needs to understand that the only way he retains any of his remaining power as a political figure is by accepting his role in this defeat and promising to support the MAGA 2.0 candidates like DeSantis & Youngkin, as well as the newcomers like Mike Lawler, who just sent Hillary and Soros' representative (and DCCC Chairman) Murphy to the unemployment line in NY's 17th.
Nah, the smart move is to bury trump, maga, the hat.. everything....and emerge anew

Cut the Hillary/Soros crap Raoul. Murphy was and is a solid Irish Democrat candidate and he was narrowly defeated by a sane Republican in his district after it was redrawn to make it a lot tougher for him. The GOP spent over $10,000,000 to win that seat. Murphy, like the class gentleman he is, conceded and wished his opponent well. Santorum has also been known as a far right religious loon even among sane Republicans.

You are obviously getting your information from a moonbat network, NewsMax who have been spinning crazy “stop the steal” crap from months before the 2020 election and calling Democrats like Murphy Soros backed Commies all along. Just because Rob Schmidt has a nice haircut and wears nice suits doesn’t mean he isn’t a nutty right wing loon. You might want to find a more credible source to get your info.

You are right, there were a few bright spots for the GOP last night, VERY FEW. “Trump accepting his role”…….ROFL….Good luck with that! People like you, Rob Schmidt, Sean Hannity, Tucker Carlson and the whole right wing blow hole created this Orange Frankensien monster and kept sucking up to him and defending him after he lost then shit the bed on January 6. I once again predicted how the midterms would go. GOP gets a few seats up in the House, Dems keep the Senate.

What might take place is that Brandon and the Democrats will hit the ground running. They have two years to straighten out several economic issues and get our economy rolling again. You guys can make fun of Biden all you want but I think you are underestimating him and his team.

The reason the GOP didn’t win big on Tuesday is because they didn’t have any plan to reverse the economic situation, they just sat back and blamed Biden for everything. Evidently the voters did not buy what they are selling.

McCarthy has his tit in a ringer too. Does he try to impeach and hold big Hunter Laptop investigations and attack Chris Wray and Merrick Garland like the nuts in the House insist or does he get replaced by one of those animals? This next year and a half should be interesting indeed.

Why only consider the 2 biggest parties?
