These midterms have given those with courage to finally: Dump Trump.

I noticed how you avoided actually discussing that 57% of American’s disapprove of Joe. He would be a horrible choice for the Dem’s, not only for his obvious cognitive issues, but also for the direction he has led our Country in. By the way, have we paid off YOUR Student loans yet? LOL
Let them make Joe the Nom
It's like they want to lose

I feel a bit lightheaded. Maybe you should drive.
The only thing uniting the Republican coalition right now is a hatred of liberals.
There is no party platform, there is no policy discussions.
The only thing Republicans want to do in pwn the libz. Some call it fighting the woke mob. Either way it isn't getting the job electorally.
To a large extent you are correct and that is why they got shellacked in the mid-terms, not because the Democrats' agenda is such a rousing success.

If I were advising the RNC I would suggest they focus on an agenda you can tick off on the fingers of one hand: secure borders, safe streets, school choice, support for workers and entrepreneurs (get the government off their back) and election integrity.

That is not the case at all. What you think about it is not what Democrats are thinking. You started predicting a red wave as soon as Joe was inaugurated. You've been wrong for a year and 10 months now.

Approval ratings are almost always driven by economic issues TB. Inflation, gas prices etc. have driven Biden’s approval ratings down over his first two years in office. Both Clinton and Obama’s approval ratings were at low points at this time in their first terms. Both were overwhelmingly elected to second terms and left office with very high approval ratings.

Biden, his team and his allies in Congress have over two years to get things moving in the right direction. Coming into office Biden’s team was faced with a huge pandemic, worldwide supply chain problems, huge GDP decrease, high unemployment as a direct result of the pandemic and then the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Under heavy fire from the press, the opposition party and these serious economic issues Biden and his team appear to be steadily moving forward to ease or solve these problems and get us back on the right track.

Since President Biden was elected to a four year term and will most likely be POTUS until at least January 20, 2025, my hope is that he and his team along with support from both Democrats and Republicans in Congress will be highly successful in these next two years and beyond. That’s the right vision for America in my book. What say you?

Yep, we were definitely fooled. It turned out Trump's support was a mile wide and only a quarter inch deep. Biden was the beneficiary of that. As is typical for him, he lucked into another failure upward...

I think you might be underestimating Biden and his team Raoul. He and his team have two years to get this country back on the right track. As an American, I choose to believe that he can and will deal with all of these issues and as always, with some luck of the Irish, his team and the Democratic Party could be in a great position by 2024. I am certainly hoping that this is the case. Until January 2025, he is the only POTUS we have. Let’s Go Brandon!!!

The year and 10 months started on 1/20/2021. You really want me to go back and bump all those old posts/threads?

First two years of WW II didn’t look so good either….Then MacArthur returned with my old man and his buddies and we hit Normandy with your old man, his buddies and General Patton…..Two years later we were in Berlin and Tokyo Bay….With Truman at the helm.….
