The “from each according to his abilities” socialist principle which says that after all private property is given up, all must contribute their labor to the common enrichment.wonderful.
Unfortunately, that'll never do.The “from each according to his abilities” socialist principle which says that after all private property is given up, all must contribute their labor to the common enrichment.
?Unfortunately, that'll never do.
nobody is giving up private property,
Not voluntarily. Unless you count such folks as the early Christians, Shakers, Amish, kibbutz residents, etc.nobody is giving up private property,
That's why socialism/communism has never been implemented successfully and never will. The “from each according to his abilities” socialist principle which says that after all private property is given up, all must contribute their labor to the common enrichment.
You could get the ball rolling by relinquishing all of your personal property - I'm guessing you don't believe in communism/socialism that much, however. Not voluntarily. Unless you count such folks as the early Christians, Shakers, Amish, kibbutz residents, etc.
We’re trying to address private ownership of private property (which I don’t have), not personal property. You could get the ball rolling by relinquishing all of your personal property - I'm guessing you don't believe in communism/socialism that much, however.
it''s private. stay away from it.We’re trying to address private ownership of private property (which I don’t have), not personal property.
You see it every day because work is seldom rewarded in this, capitalist, society. You would see much less of that in socialist society. I would call the elimination of homelessness in E. Germany and later Cuba a success. How about you? That's why socialism/communism has never been implemented successfully and never will.
I see it every day...people will always default to the lowest common denominator when the reward to acheive is gone. When everyone gets the same regardless of effort put in, the workforce stagnates and revert to,the person who contributes least.
And...you have no right to what my efforts and hard work has gained me. I won't give it up without a fight and will resort to violence to protect what is mine.
Nope...it shouldn't be my responsibility to raise the standard of life of those unwilling to do it for themselves. You see it every day because work is seldom rewarded in this, capitalist, society. that, and the Nazis branded homeless people criminals and forcibly removed them from the streets of east germany....Nope...it shouldn't be my responsibility to raise the standard of life of those unwilling to do it for themselves.
Your inability to purchase private property gives you no right to claim what I have should be everyone else's.We’re trying to address private ownership of private property (which I don’t have), not personal property.

Why do you continue to lie about NO homeless in Cuba and remain living in America if socialism is your dreamYou see it every day because work is seldom rewarded in this, capitalist, society. You would see much less of that in socialist society. I would call the elimination of homelessness in E. Germany and later Cuba a success. How about you?
So you reject the fundamental premise of civilization (restraining the most bestial means of self-gratification in order to prevent atrocities) and on the basis of that rejection declare socialism a failure.Nope...it shouldn't be my responsibility to raise the standard of life of those unwilling to do it for themselves.
A crucial distinction made.Hairs split.
