Trump signs new deal with Saudis and Oman

I'm one of the deplorables lefty warns you about.
Such a collection of worthless blather. But no explanation of why you think presidential conflicts of interest are just fine.
You never explained why it is a conflict of interest...all you did (as always) is bitch and moan about Trump...again.

I explained my reasoning...they're private citizens now and can enjoy everything that goes with being a private citizen as long as it's legal.

You're just too dim to understand what I said...which surprises no one on PJ.

;-)

And still, you provide no explanation for why you think presidential/candidate conflicts of interest are just fine. Instead, you pretend to be too dopey to understand why conflicts of interest are presented when a president/candidate does business in a nation where he’s supposed to be representing the interests of the USA. You Trump cultists are fully willing to pretend to be morons to boost your cult leader. At least I hope you’re just pretending.

I'm saying he's a private citizen now...just like Bill Clinton, George Bush, Barack Obama, etc. As a private citizen, one's allowed to make whatever business deal they want to make, as long as it's lawful. There's no conflict of interest...except in the eyes of people like you.

What laws are being broken and how is Trump putting the nation's best interests at risk by entertaining this venture?

I don't take issue with Billy or Barry making deals with foreign entities as long as they're legal...sounds like sour grapes you feel that way about Trump.

He wasn't a POTUS candidate when deal was made!

So let’s recap…

You completely ignore Trump’s brazen conflicts of interest while he was president. Likely because you cannot defend them with a straight face.

Next, you pretend that Trump is “just a private citizen” when you know he’s a presidential candidate, wheeling and dealing with other countries, when those countries know he may well be president again.

You’re just too dishonest to have a candid conversation about Trump’s horrendous conflicts. You have no ethics, so you’re flummoxed by concepts involving ethics. Just like Trump.

As if he is ending any of his conflicts-producing business interests now. Sheesh, he has dramatically increased them over the last few years. And he will do some more. All as you cultists clap like trained seals.

He will have to do it in prison

I suppose so. And I bet I lose a lot of sleep over it too.

Don't see how I'm being dishonest when I've been nothing but honest that I find no conflict of interest.

Knowing how you think about me might cause me to lose sleep too...but I doubt it. I'll let you know though.

I'm a bit more concerned with people in office, currently, that continue to send billions of tax payer dollars to the Ukraine (known for laundering money) when only about 30% of that money can be accounted for.

Bottom line - discussing ethics with wingers is like discussing differential equations with a dog. They just look at you quizzically.

It says I like to ridicule you Trump cultists and expose you as as the pox on society you are.

Duh. You are REALLY slow on the uptake.
Perhaps you intended this for the That's Jacked Up forum? A topic without any specificity is quite tedious.

What conflict of interest are you wishing posters engage you in conversation about?

You're just not bright enough to understand that nobody on PJ cares about ridicule from you, as we all consider the source. And, it seems much more concerning to you than most that people like me continue to spread the conservative "pox" on society.

As far as being slow on the uptake...that more mirrors you not being able to understand this is all a game to me. It's kinda like the phone scammer from India...as long as I keep you occupied, you're not bothering anyone else. ;-)

Now, answer Phil's question regarding the complete ambiguity of your OP...

It’s impossible to imagine a thread with more specificity. See post no. 1 and my posts that followed it. They focus on the Trump conflict of interest deals in elaborate detail, complete with a link.

What’s missing is anybody wishing to confront them. Instead, we have responses evading the issues in various ways, including those pretending Trump, a former president and perhaps future president, is just like any other businessman, so the conflicts of interest can be ignored.

The problem is not my posts. The problem is those that evade the conflict issues.

It’s interesting how you purport to speak for others. Delusions of grandeur must be added to your other flaws.

And your excuse for your complete lack of candor and ethics is lame.

You have no clue what others say about you through other means than posting on the boards. That being said, I really don't see how my delusions effect you in the least.

Lame is in the eye of the beholder.

What I find especially amusing is that your inability to refrain from lobbing adolescent and completely worn out insults at me has you so far on tilt that YOU changed the subject and you're not even discussing the subject of YOUR OP anymore. See how easy it is to get your attention diverted? ;-)

Expressing the opinion that I don't view it as a conflict of interest isn't evading the topic. You just don't like my answer...then, as is your typical MO, you start throwing around childish insults, then go completely on tilt and come completely off topic because someone refuses to see things the way that you do. YOU derailed your entire thread because you act just like Trump.

It's very entertaining...

Quite to the contrary, I repeatedly challenged you to confront the conflict issues. You refused. Should I waste less time mocking you about it? Probably, but it’s not as if it’s a heavy lift.

You don’t pay attention very well. I don’t believe you when you say you believe it’s not a conflict of interest when a president/possible future president does business deals with other nations. The manner in which such business interests conflict with our national interests is obvious. You’re just being dishonest to evade the topic. Either that or your sense of ethics really is so abysmal that you truly can’t perceive the conflict.

Either way, there’s not much left to discuss with you on the topic. You’re fine with Trump’s conflicts, which is deplorable.
