Not surprising at all that this has come to light...

In the piece, he outlines how Eastern Europeans could be used as the “manpower” in coming conflicts in an effort to reduce the number of deaths in Western countries, which Soros argues the West would not politically tolerate, unlike the east of Europe.

“The United States would not be called upon to act as the policeman of the world. When it acts, it would act in conjunction with others. Incidentally, the combination of manpower from Eastern Europe with the technical capabilities of NATO would greatly enhance the military potential of the Partnership because it would reduce the risk of body bags for NATO countries, which is the main constraint on their willingness to act. This is a viable alternative to the looming world disorder,” wrote Soros in the article.
Soros acknowledges that the NATO countries have no appetite for “body bags,” but his statement implicitly indicates that Eastern Europeans can fill this role.

What Soros described appears to be unfolding exactly as he predicted regarding the war in Ukraine. Armed with high-end NATO weapons, Ukrainian soldiers are actively countering Russia, which Soros had already feared would become a nationalist nation opposed to the global order he was promoting in 1993. The powerful Western countries have the necessary weapons, and Ukraine has the manpower. Given that Soros already saw the potential of what this symbiotic match could produce on the battlefield decades in advance will likely bolster his reputation as a calculating — and perhaps ruthless — strategic thinker.

As Soros predicted, Ukrainian society appears to be tolerating the high death toll in its current conflict with Russia. During the Vietnam War, the U.S. lost 58,220 over the course of approximately 10 years, and yet, the war saw strong opposition from the American public. Despite a far higher death toll in a far shorter period of time, Ukrainian society has seen little in terms of protests.

Kind of puts some meat on the bones of those credible reports of his at best financing, and at worst, engineering the "Maidan Revolution" doesn't it?

The people of Ukraine engineered the maidan.

Further, the poles, Ukes, Galicians and that region was the meat grinder in WW2 that served precisely what you suggest

Apparently the Ukrainians' high tolerance for pain and suffering did not escape Mr. Soros:

“Ukraine just so happens to be a country where Soros has historically wielded the most influence,” wrote Matt Polumbo, author of The Man Behind the Curtain: Inside the Secret Network of George Soros.

“Soros’s influence in Ukraine kicked off in 1989, two years before the collapse of the USSR, when he was creating a series of NGOs,” Polumbo wrote.

“The most notable was in April 1990, when the International Renaissance Foundation (IRF), a part of the Open Society Foundations’ international network, was established in Kyiv.”

Soros has himself bragged about his influence in the Ukraine.

In a May 2014 interview with CNN’s Fareed Zakaria, Soros was asked about his role in the revolutions that led to the Ukraine’s independence from the Soviet Union in 1991.

In response, Soros appeared to suggest that he had played a role in every Ukrainian revolution, from the Orange Revolution of 2004-2005 to the Maidan Revolution in February 2014, which led to the overthrow of democratically-elected President Viktor Yanukovych and the establishment of the current regime now led by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

“Well, I set up a foundation in Ukraine before Ukraine became independent of Russia,” Soros told Zakaria. “And the foundation has been functioning ever since. And it played a — an important part in events now.”

How is Soros any different than Murdoch other than Murdoch financing the largest propaganda network known?

Never mind. The answer is in plain sight.

I was actually in Eastern Europe recently and I can tell you from the people I spoke with, that the Eastern European people have no interest in fighting in the Ukraine. The turning point for them (aside from very wealthy Ukrainians buying a lot of land) was the rockets that hit Poland, and Zelensky response was to get everyone in the war.....if you beleive that Zelensky didn't know that those rockets were his, you are lying to yourself.

In general, and yes this is all anecdotal because it just my own experience with the people I spoke with, the beleif is something is wrong with all of this and a LOT of the money is being laundered and weapons being sold.

Insert head exploding comments and how much I must love Putin below.

That’s an incredibly evil sentiment from Soros. Oil the gears of NATO and the MIC with the blood of “lesser European peoples”. What’s a few slavs anyway…right? This is almost comical “Eloi and morlock” stuff. :-/

The nazi sentiment (ve are ze master race) literally leaps off of the page. Lefty furiously peddling the "nothing to see here, move along" narrative is an entertaining bonus.

They certainly are uniformly averse to criticizing Soros. These people are filth.
I criticized him and the nationalist philosophy that sees some lives as more worthy of life than others in post #5, which I suspect you and the other right-wingers here ignored (indeed, pretended didn’t exist) because it accurately indicated that his moral calculus is called in right-wing cant the virtue of patriotism.

Again, I criticized him as a nationalist and therefore a reactionary. I did not make the kind of superficial, looks-based critique you make of Trump to preserve your fig leaf of nonpartisanship.

i'm not sure which "eastern europeans" are ready to take up arms and fight on behalf of Russia. By most accounts, not even actual Russians are willing to do this. Conscripts are fleeing, and Putin is freeing prisoners and mental patients to fill out his new brigades.

So Germans do not want to go fight in Ukraine. Ok. Don't. Zelensky hasn't asked for foreign troops. Putin might like the help.

Which people are filth Rick? Those who aren’t jumping on you and Raoul’s bandwagon in your righteous attacks on evil Rich Jew Deluxe….Soros? I remember when Soros became infamous among the idiot Fox News dupes as a result of Billo Reilly attacking him relentlessly on his prime time hit show. Reason being that Soros helped fund Media Matters which exposed Murdoch’s Fox News, New York Post and other campy scandal rags and websites for what they were. Bullshit mills. That infuriated Murdoch and the lying right wing blow hole network he created. Since then, anything that goes wrong in the world is blamed on evil Super Jew antihero Soros. Pardon me if I do not buy into that line of bullshit.
