I feel a bit lightheaded. Maybe you should drive.
The war mongers have repeatedly assured us that "we got this" and the Ukraine war was an "opportunity" for regime change (the necons' raison d'etre) in Russia. A prospect they relished with glee, while not even pretending to consider what, if fact, could go wrong.

Putin’s critics, seeing how disastrous the war has been for Russia, are hoping that it will be his political downfall. Oleg Matveychev, a member of the Russian parliament, agrees that the war isn’t going well for Russia — but not because he opposes the invasion. Matveychev, according to Business Insider’s Sinéad Baker, supports the invasion but believes that Putin is in danger of a strong political challenge from a pro-invasion candidate.

Oops! Here we go WWIII, here we go...heck of a job Brandony!

It's been insane since the begining, a war that should have never happened. I beleive Russia should pay a price for the number of people killed in this stupidity but I am also a realist.

The Russians have a thing about being humiliated, they have a thing about remembering their history, they will now face German tanks..... Love Putin, Hate Putin...... that sets off a lot of alarm bells in Russia for reasons I think we all know. Wanna galvanize the Russia people behind this war? Have the soldiers face German Tanks.......

Our continuing to poke the Russian Bear as it were with a stick will not end well for anyone. This war should have been moved to talks a LONG TIME AGO...and several thousand lives.

I don't have any sympathy for them, I just pointing out that armies are not the only ones who fight wars, getting a public that is dubious about the war at best to toss in their support for Mother Russia........ German Tanks have the potential of doing that on a silver platter.

Does gtfo include Crimea?

Guartenee the Russians they keep Crimea this ends tomorrow, Ukraine Army moves to take it....

Mushroom clouds for everyone.

Especially if he (Putin) should be replaced by a guy worse who thinks this invasion was justified.

Their public is uninformed about the war, they are fed propaganda like north Koreans are fed propaganda.

This German tanks thing is silly. People, most of whom weren't alive then, and whose grandparents hid first behind poles and ukes are going to flashback to those times? Nah.

Ukraine will cut Russia off from Crimea. Wait for it

Yep!

Former Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett said in an interview posted to his YouTube channel on Saturday that the US and its Western allies “blocked” his efforts of mediating between Russia and Ukraine to bring an end to the war in its early days.

On March 4, 2022, Bennett traveled to Russia to meet with President Vladimir Putin. In the interview, he detailed his mediation at the time between Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, which he said he coordinated with the US, France, Germany, and the UK.

Bennett said that both sides agreed to major concessions during his mediation effort. For the Russian side, he said they dropped “denazification” as a requirement for a ceasefire. Bennett defined “denazification” as the removal of Zelensky. During his meeting in Moscow with Putin, Bennett said the Russian leader guaranteed that he wouldn’t try to kill Zelensky.

The other concession Russia made, according to Bennett, is that it wouldn’t seek the disarmament of Ukraine. For the Ukrainian side, Zelensky “renounced” that he would seek NATO membership, which Bennett said was the “reason” for Russia’s invasion.

Reports at the time reflect Bennet’s comments and said Russia and Ukraine were softening their positions. Citing Israeli officials, Axios reported on March 8 that Putin’s “proposal is difficult for Zelensky to accept but not as extreme as they anticipated. They said the proposal doesn’t include regime change in Kyiv and allows Ukraine to keep its sovereignty.”

Discussing how Western leaders felt about his mediation efforts, Bennett said then-British Prime Minister Boris Johnson took an “aggressive line” while French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz were more “pragmatic.” Bennett said President Biden adopted “both” positions.

But ultimately, the Western leaders opposed Bennet’s efforts. “I’ll say this in the broad sense. I think there was a legitimate decision by the West to keep striking Putin and not [negotiate],” Bennett said.

When asked if the Western powers “blocked” the mediation efforts, Bennet said, “Basically, yes. They blocked it, and I thought they were wrong.”

It's not silly to the Russians.

Enjoy the end.

Yes, we should always take a third party's word over that of an actual participant.
Actually, what you should do is watch the whole interview and not rely on a shit rag telling you what to think.

Bennett clearly said it was a long shot to begin with, had at best a 50% chance, and perhaps was too hasty in rewarding a thug...which would have repercussions around the world including China/Taiwan. Further he could see both perspectives and that of the west and their input.

Jeebis Christmas. Just watch it. Don't cherry pick

He clearly said he thought the West was "making a mistake." And a 50% chance to avoid a half million deaths and years of misery for 10 million people? You're right, why would we want that...
