I doubt they are coming back. Several have moved onto other forums. And yes, “business continues here as it always has”. Perhaps, that isn’t necessarily a good thing. Time will tell. JMHO.
Challenging people to support their contentions and claims is a good thing, in a site designed for posters to engage over their contentions and claims..
That people choose not to do that, and attack and insult in its place, isn't the concern of this site now is it?
Over the years it's probably been posted a thousand times, nobody's looking to stifle anybody, but the simple request to curb it a little bit instead of resorting to outright insult all the time. Jmho

I don’t really care what it depicts. I have no interest in seeing the shitshow happening on this thread to go on endlessly. By the way it appears to me that the deterioration of this forum shouldn’t be placed at the feet of any one person as that will not solve the issue and will further complicate forward movement. If you feel compelled to call others out, I would start with a good long look in the mirror. We all have played a role in what is happening here. Me included. It would be nice to get back on track.

The problem I see is that you also engage in attacks and insults.. As have I. We each have the opportunity to end a discussion whenever we want and disengage instead of carrying on page after page. Sometimes the best thing to do is to walk away from a discussion in which there can be no positive outcome. I know for me, that can be difficult to do, but something that might actually be helpful to keeping things in a better trajectory here. It is worth a try…
