Republicans vs Free speech

It has to do with the post that it replied to. Try reading it.
Really? Gun control is aimed at political opponents? Universal background checks are aimed at those who are not legally permitted to own guns...ex-felons, drug addicts, people under court ordered psychiatric care...are those all republicans?

Biden also endorses banning large capacity magazines and guns that hold them.
Which has what to do with political opponents?

This was the exchange....again, what does a ban on large capacity magazines or assault rifles have to do with political opponents?

1. I never said you POSTED in support of gun confiscation - I said you VOTED in support of gun confiscation. So that "lie" was yours.

2. Much if not most of what Trump labeled "fake news" was, in fact, fake "news." That has been demonstrated with zero doubt. So again, by suggesting that stuff was accurate, your lie, not mine.

3. Lets make this easy - you find us what you consider to be a credible report on CRT that says black people are often also racist, without excusing it as a reasonable response to "systemic racism."

4. Kid reads sexually graphic book from library to school board | U.S. News (christianpost.com)

5. Whatever, we both agree that unions are the Democratic Party's "base." We can stop debating it. They use them as political enforcers, like any good fascist would.

6. Sure it is. It isn't based on "science" any more than Scientology is.

7. You explain why some of these retreating glaciers are exposing ancient forests. Obviously, the earth was warmer when those forests grew. What we are experiencing now is the ending of an "ice age."

8. Nobody is "banning books" just protecting children from grossly inappropriate content: Kid reads sexually graphic book from library to school board | U.S. News (christianpost.com)

9. If you are arguing those fighting for the sanctity of life are "fascist," well, lol.

10. Recounting ballots without any way to verify that an actual registered voter cast that vote is not "verification." I heard today that they found 1.2 million bad voter records JUST IN LA COUNTY! You said before, "how would the crooked poll workers know whose vote wasn't going to be cast so they could cast it?" - well, there's your answer.
Ballots are validated at the polling place. Voters sign a poll book when they check in and get a blank ballot.

Absentee ballots are validated when they are brought in by the USPS or by poll workers who empty out the ballot drop boxes.

The voter database in each state records who voted and if they voted in person or by absentee.

As I've posted before, ballots are ordered from an approved vendor. They are printed on special paper that makes it harder to create fraudulent ballots. They have serial numbers that are within an approved range of numbers, making it impossible to duplicate without colliding with legit ballots. Absentee envelopes have serial numbers and that number is recorded as having been sent to a specific voter.

So if the voter data base count of people voting absentee and the number voting in person matches the number of ballots counted and the number of ballots counted by tabulators as well as the number counted in the hand recount....

Why is that not validation enough? How did anyone get a few thousands of ballots, check the database for ACTIVE voters and get names to use to vote?

The majority of the 1.2 million were inactive voters and they were deleted from the database in 2017....according to the lawsuit. If you showed up, attempting to use a name that was flagged as inactive (meaning the voter had not cast a vote in 2 elections)...do you really think they'd just hand you a ballot? They certainly would not have mailed a ballot to your home if you were flagged as inactive.

I feel a bit lightheaded. Maybe you should drive.
1. So given you have the ability to know things that I'd guess you couldn't possibly know...Who did I vote for who is in favor of gun confiscation? If you can't name a candidate who proposed confiscation...that would make you a liar.

2. Trump called the report of the size of the inauguration crowd "fake news". Pictures show he was lying.

Any negative polls are fake news, just like the CNN, ABC, NBC polls in the election," Trump wrote in February, in reference to negative responses to his travel ban. "Sorry, people want border security and extreme vetting."

3. Lets make this easy - you find us what you consider to be a credible report on CRT that says black people are often also racist

Now that is pretty bizarre. You want me to find a report on CRT...the subject matter republicans claim is being taught in grade school, but isn't, that says black people are racists as well as white people? How about you find CRT course material that is being taught in grade school.

4. I have to ask...first, how did the kid know to check that book out? Second, if the book was rated for 14 to 18, why did the librarian let him check it out? I can find no response from the Library or the school.

Feel free to c&p the reference to the laptop I missed...why is that impossible for you to do?

Please, the "news" has been spreading disinformation about pretty much every issue for a half decade. So the idea that someone using the term "fake news" should be a criminal offense is laughable.

So was that lesson designed to teach tolerance and racial harmony?

So only children who think graphic depictions of gay are cool sex should be allowed to check those books out? Is that really what you want to base your argument on? Did you miss the part where the Librarian asked him if he wanted the "graphic novel" version? You know what that is, right? It's basically a comic book.

You've got arguments here, but your problem is that none of them are any good.

Yeah, that could never happen...

Colorado secretary of state says office accidentally sent 30,000 voter registration notices to noncitizens | Fox News

You must have missed that when it was on your local news.

So if a polling station has no Republican observers, what would stop the poll workers from signing for the ballots of people they know are not going to vote and casting those ballots? If they did, would a "recount" find them? The answer, of course, is no.

My million dollar shack has a room for the washer and dryer...and I own it.

2 offices, 4 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, in-law suite downstairs, gym, 3 car garage....
4,000 Sq ft. Yeah, it's a shack.
What ? No pool ? Would make a good guest house for the 6 Million mansion + 40 acres, I'll be buying, when I get my legal settlement, later this year.

1. Really? Do you think those poll workers can access the voter Data base to see that info? Do you think they can change an inactive voter to active?
2. Colorado is almost all absentee ballots. Hardly any In person voting. How did some election worker get his hands on thousands of mail in ballots?

Someone obviously can. What would they do if the person showed up? How many "active" voters are, in fact, known to be not very active?

You do not have to return your mail in ballot to vote in person.

A bill before the Florida legislature would require any blogger posting about DeSantis (or any other elected official) must register within five days of their post and must file monthly reports with the state on the 10th day of each month afterwards, if they continue to write blog posts and are compensated.

There is also a bill that would outlaw the democratic party.

Wow....tell me again how Democrats are the fascists.
this is certain to be found unconstitutional. as i asserted in my own top post last week.

You do not have to return your mail in ballot to vote in person.
You have to access the data base through an application. The application controls what you can see or update. If you do not have the security authorization to see fields in the file then you wouldn't be able to search for who is inactive and you wouldn't be able to update that field.

When ballots are being mailed out, the application that prints envelopes only prints ones for active voters. If you buy a copy of the database it comes in a CSV format, making it pretty hard to search for inactive voters. Then you'd have to figure out a way to register as that voter at a new address to get a ballot.

Currently every registered voter in Colorado gets an absentee ballot mailed to them. If the ballot is returned because the voter moved then they are flagged as inactive.

What is your point about voting in person?

The point is the attempt...the registration of bloggers is another unconstitutional attack on free speech. Harass the shit out of anyone who is criticizing republicans....

1. When did Biden talk about confiscation? A ban on assault weapons is certainly a waste of time, given the millions of AK47s, SKS and AR15s that are in circulation...but he did not advocate confiscation.
2. Where did I talk about outlawing speech? I merely pointed out Trump's war on the media. He admitted he wanted to discredit any reporter or media that might criticize him. He even tried to get Disney to lean on Kimmel to stop him from telling Trump jokes.
3. Who said Trump was a Russian agent? Did he favor policies that Putin would approve of? Yup. Did he tell you that Putin was more credible than US intelligence officials? Yup. Did he share intel with the Russian ambassador that came from a covert Israeli source that endangered that source? Yes, he did.

What do you think the teacher was trying to do? If the Tulsa massacre is covered in history classes, is that about teaching tolerance and harmony? How about the Trail of Tears or the mass incarceration of Japanese citizens in 1942?

I think it is all about teaching that for evil to succeed, all that is needed is for good men to do nothing.

Is ignorance of our past in anyone's best interests? I remember history classes as teaching only good things about the USA....even if they were lies.
