One of many factors. I'll add, the low bar in performance that's been set in education and continually revised downward
Add to that the tendency of business leaders to outsource their own production and offshore the support of those products. At some point they will no longer have the ability to produce a damned thing.

As an employee of a really good computer company in the early 80s, I saw them go from US manufactured circuit boards, disk drives and even cables to those made a few bucks cheaper from China and India. Every one I've ever spoken to on the subject has had the "priviledge" of being on the phone with Bill from Mumbai or some other shithole and trying to decipher their instructions on how to assemble and use their crap.

You'd think they'd have learned the lesson in 2020 about supply chain issues.

And cited NATO expansion - did you miss that part? Yes, Ukrainian armed vigilantes were murdering Russian speaking civilians in the Eastern regions by the thousands. I'm not sure why you would find that funny...
Got evidence that Russian speaking Ukrainians were being murdered in Donbas prior to 2014? Once Russian troops and Russian backed militias took over there the fighting killed 14,000 or so from 2014 to 2022. Have Russian air and artillery strikes helped save lives? I'd think not.

OMFG..... are you kidding? You spend all YOUR TIME lying and defending those very people.
This from a guy defending the president who had his lawyers file over 60 lawsuits to overturn the election of 2020 and then attempted to stay in power using a mob of thousands to stop the count of electors.

Tell us again how the laptop story would have kept Trump in power....
