A "fascist" mob that was, for all intents and purposes, completely unarmed? And delayed the installation of Brandon how long? Oh yeah, not a single second!

What "restrictive" voting laws? You mean like the one in Georgia that resulted in the highest number of minority votes in their history?

You mean like masks that didn't work? Mandatory vaccinations with a vaccine that did nothing to stop or even slow the spread? School closures that put a generation of poor kids two years behind in the education process despite the risk of their deaths from the disease approximating zero? Lone surfers arrested while mobs of BLM rioters were allowed to roam the streets freely? Bars allowed to stay open while churches shuttered? You think all that nonsense was well needed (and effective) but many of the rest of us followed the science to the conclusion that not only was none of that needed, but in fact did a great deal of harm. But we, of course, were not allowed to live our lives as we saw fit but were instead forced to act according to your (completely wrong) conclusions about the need for all of that covidiocy.

Who says a "handful of people" can't address their gender issues? We're merely suggesting that men should not be allowed to compete in women's sports, sleep in their dorms, use their rest rooms etc. and of course, that children are not capable of making a rational decision about their desire to live the rest of their lives as barren hermaphrodites.

You mean rational abortion restrictions that are favored by the majority of Americans?

No, of course not - you are free to carbon neutralize yourself to your heart's content. No one who is skeptical of the climate alarmism is forcing you to drive an SUV. Watch this exchange and tell me again how the climate change alarmism is so necessary:

Kennedy: “Yeah, but if you could answer my question. If we spend $50 trillion to become carbon neutral in the U.S. by 2050, you’re the Deputy Secretary of Energy, give me your estimate of how much that is going to reduce world temperatures.”

Turk: “So, first of all, it’s a net cost. It’s what, um, benefits we’re having from getting our act together and reducing all of those costs and climate benefits…”

Kennedy: “Let me ask you. Maybe I’m not being clear. If we spend $50 trillion to become carbon neutral by 2050 in the United States of America, how much is that going to reduce world temperatures?

Turk: “This is a global problem, so we need to reduce our emissions and we need to do everything to, uh…”

Kennedy: “How much of we do our part is it going to reduce global temperatures?”

Turk: “So, we’re 13% of global emissions…”

Kennedy: “You don’t know, do you? You don’t know, do you?”

A fully flabbergasted Turk then says "In my heart of hearts, there is no way the world gets its act together on climate change unless the U.S. leads."

That clown can't come up with a single reason for spending $50 trillion on "climate change" beyond the mother of all virtue signaling.

This is the sheer idiocy that you assert the left "not forcing me to participate in." You have a lot of nerve...
Notice that Kennedy doesn't let Turk finish his answer. Common tactic with right wingers.

There is no estimate of the US spending $50 trillion and the fact is that at this point Turk doesn't know what steps might be implemented, so how in hell can he guess at what percentage could be reduced?

Like the other adolescent uber-entitled leftists in this forum, he NEVER answers questions. The lefties here “don’t owe nobody nuthin”. The entire world…and all that inhabit it…are mere props for these pathologically-humility-deficient, maladjusted babies. They will pester you with line after kine of questioning. As a decent, normal, well-adjusted person whose parents loved you…you will answer them in good faith. Then, if you pose even one question back…NADA.

Reciprocity and humility are absent.
Questions based on false statements are hardly worth an answer....

1. How long was Biden's inauguration delayed? Really? The attempt failed. The intent was to delay it long enough to get Trump electors selected by the states Trump lost.
2. What restrictive voting laws? Really? How about the ones where polling places are removed from college campus? How about the ones removing ballot drop boxes, forcing voters to travel long distances to vote?
3. What bar have you been to where you sit shoulder to shoulder with others? Were you aware of the church choir practice where about 60 of the members got covid?
I don't know of churches willing to have people sit 6 feet apart, as our customers were.
4. Who says a handful of people have gender issues? A very small number of people in our country have sought gender transformation or treatment....If you know of a larger number, what is your source. I won't expect an answer...
5. Really? A majority of Americans want abortion banned? Where have you read that a majority want abortion limited to the first 10 weeks? A majority are against government interference in women's right to choose.

Look up the millions who died under Stalin or Mao.
I didn’t say that starvation and repression were unique to capitalism or unheard of under socialism. Luke did say, falsely, they were unique to “communism” (although communism and the state, which makes repression possible, are incompatible, so I believe he meant what I would call “socialism”).

But, and this is so revealing of the techniques of counterrevolutionary propaganda, when millions starve in Stalin’s USSR or Mao’s China … because a government, able to take power out of the hands of the communist leadership due to the power of capitalism, which has undermined the working-class dictatorship to facilitate cooperation with the capitalists, now finds itself reverting to capitalist methods of effecting left-wing reform … it becomes the stuff of legend, the death toll is multiplied by a factor of 2-4 in popular mythology, and it is presented as due to socialism’s nature and not its immaturity. When millions starve in Nehru’s India, it’s just “the way it’s always been” and nothing is to be done.

Turk did not take issue with Kennedy's $50 trillion number. Which, by the way, wasn't pulled out of his ass:

Turk was obfuscating, and actually admitted that the sole purpose of the US spending an unbelievable sum on "carbon neutrality" was to virtue signal to the rest of the world in the hopes that they would join us in the sheer idiocy of sacrificing our prosperity on the altar of the climate change religion.

So you tell me - if the left gets everything they want in their climate change agenda - how much will if reduce temps in the first decade (LOL you won't answer either).

Neo-Maoism at its finest:

1. So any time a cop shoots someone...is it your opinion that the cop acted as judge, jury and executioner?
2. How many of those cops needed medical attention...oh, all of them.
3. Kennedy pulled a number out of his ass. You agree. You do not actually dispute the evidence of a massive melt of Arctic and Antarctic ice or the disappearance of glaciers around the world...you just dismiss it as dishonest scientists and lefty virtue signaling. Is that what you'd call participating in honest debate?
4. Is cleaning up the environment really a waste? I grew up in a very polluted city. It is much cleaner now. As a result, I see the value in these efforts.
When they are unarmed? Absolutely.

Again, how many were admitted to the hospital? It's a simple question.

No he didn't:

And again, for the record, Turk did not dispute the number.

Yes, the environment is much cleaner. That wasn't enough for you lefties though, was it? Clearly there is no end to the left's quest for "environmental justice." Clearly your agenda requires that we all completely capitulate and allow you to control everything. We're not going to do that.

1. How in hell did he know she was unarmed? She was leading a mob into a secure area 20 or 30 feet from members of congress through a window that the mob had just smashed. Would she and the next few through that window have been able to unlock the door and threaten members of congress? Yes.
2. I don't know how many went to the hospital. Do you?
3. where did the $50 trillion number come from?

Senator Kennedy begins by questioning Dr. Douglas Holtz-Eakin, president of the American Action Forum, a center-right policy think tank that advocates for a “50-52 percent economy-wide reduction of net greenhouse gas emissions below 2005 levels by 2030,” about the cost of the potential move towards carbon neutrality and the possibility of success.

I don't know what you refer to as "everything" the left wants. Do you?
If nothing is done...at what point will we reach the point of no return?

To what is it that you want to return? The earth has been warming for quite a long time. Do you just want it to warm more slowly? Do you seek de-industrialization? “Point of no return”? I thought we had already cleared that. Is this some “double secret probation” point of no return? Maybe a “this time for sure..I really mean it” point of no return?

There are points of no return and points of no return. At this point, what is unavoidable is catastrophic coastal flooding, reduced food production, and increased violent weather all over the world. Another decade or two of high emissions, and what will be unavoidable is obligatory nomadism and reversion to a hunter-gatherer mode of production.

i don't know about you but I think the cops need to actually, you know, see a weapon before they can decide someone is a "deadly threat." But then, I believe in the Constitution...

Funny thing...everyone I know has been vaccinated and boosted. You attribute your cough to the vaccine but your doctors find nothing. You think you've presented evidence, but your credibility is in the toilet. You alone of millions of people have a cough. Oh, my.
Oh yeah, and I frequently get the sensation of breathing second hand cigarette smoke. I never had any of these before the vaccination, so I think it makes a ton of sense to assume it is responsible. It was an experimental vaccine - it was exceedingly dangerous to make it mandatory. But that's just how you lefties roll.

1. It was never mandatory.
2. When emergency use authorization was given the approved vaccines were already among the most tested vaccines in history and their safety and efficacy have been demonstrated in spades since.
3. There is no plausible mechanism by which they could cause symptoms of the sort you report. What is much more likely is that you got Covid, which damaged your lungs, but you didn’t realize it because the general effects were so much milder due to the protection the vaccine conferred.

Well, that alongside greed. They make an ideal match in the lead up to fascism.

As Steven Crowder would say, "Prove me wrong."
RD Wolff has been teaching Marxist Political Economy for fifty years.
His views have gained a great deal of acceptance since the Great Recession:

From September 2017:

https://www.fastcompany.com/40467032/the-end-of-capitalism-is-already-starting-if-you-know-where-to-look

"'Americans are getting closer and closer to understanding that they live in an economic system that is not working for them, and will not work for their kids,' Wolff says.

"Growing awareness that wages have been unable to keep up with inflated costs of living have left younger generations particularly disillusioned with capitalism’s ability to support their livelihoods, Wolff says, and with CEOs out-earning employees by sometimes as much as 800 to 1, it makes sense that public interest should be swinging toward a workplace model that encapsulates shared ownership, consensus-based decision making, and democratized wages."
