That percentage range of support can bite him once again at some point once again. He is hoping for more support in all the states not less. He already lost with those numbers. I'm pretty sure the Romney team is a little uneasy at this point.

RNC goes with "Who's next?"....just like they did with McCain and Bob Dole.

Ergo...they're going to back Romney all the way and crush any opposition....even if that means using Santorum to take out Newt.

they don't care about anything, the head of the RNC will have what candidate they want, end of story.

Mitt has a lot sound bites to work from, lets just wait till he has to defend his life as he is now attacking Obama. If you say what you want to get done, it becomes a promise in their world. They can't understand that wanting to do something, trying to doing something go together, Not getting something done is a fact, and when you got two sides of congress just saying no, you can't get something done unless you want it to be what they want and the heck with your desires.

will the GOP old guard be able to tame the rabble.....this time?

it may well get uglier...with 25% Romney winning, but seriously damaged (if Newt has his way).

RNC knows ABO will keep the Looneys going to the polls....so why not nominate a relatively Sane Candidate?

Do movement conservatives who have so far stayed on the sidelines (the Palins, the Cains, the DeMints, Tea Party groups, etc.) begin rallying to his side?

I heard for a while now that Palin was supporting Santorum. if he can get DeMint, he'll have the tea partiers (or fight Gingrich for them).

was important for Republicans that this turnout exceeded what they got in 2008 (118,000). But make no mistake: It was a disappointing number, especially given what Republicans were hoping for to show the enthusiasm

can't blame the weather on the disappointing turnout by repubs.

Mitt got 25% in Iowa when he ran the last time, so, 25% then and 25% now mean exactly what?

SOS different year.

McCain endorsement may be the problem...............remember McCain?

Hopefully he'll continue that trend into the general election when he can't throw Nutters enough red meat for fear of turning off mods and indies and they stay in their trailers on election day.

We'll call him Two-Bit Mitt!! ;-)

This is the most imprtant that Mitt go into the General cycle hating America's working class people unknowingly and trying to persuade people that corporations are people

Hey you got to remember, there was a football game on last night, Mich vs GT I believe, and you how all those Iowa fans care about Mich! LOL

Does Mitt or any of them ever say what they can do to make things better besides going back to where we were when BUSH left us in the worst economy in the last 75 years and it was TANKING from there. 750,000 jobs a month we were losing when Obama came in and it took him 2 years to stop the bleeding that the republicans took 8 years to get us there.

Now all I hear is we have got to get rid of what Obama did, so that means we need to get back to where BUSH left us, wow is that a great platform to run on.

25% last time, 25% now means he hasn't gained. he's flat-lined. or as Bo said, we'll call Willard 2-bit Mitt.
