Yes - they say that the day before is the worst part. You are being smart to listen to the doctor if they insist on the test. Mine did not. She told me that it was advisable but she wasn't pushing it.

I have not, but my buddies who do contract work says their platinum plans are great. Zero deductible, low out of pocket max for a PPO. Cheaper monthly if they go to Kaiser. Not any different than what’s provided by private companies around here.

Since I don't have a primary care physician you might say I don't go for routine care anyway. I have a pulmonary doctor for severe breathing problems and a dentist. Whenever something untoward happens I go to an open door medical center to verify it's whatever I think it is.
I don't camp on their doorsteps.
