Donald Trump was one of the few who opposed it from the beginning. He was saying precisely what you are saying now. I happen to disagree with him. Hussein was destabilizing the region all on his own. He was threatening his neighbors. And he was using chemical weapons, not only on Iran soldiers but his own people. It was only a matter of time before he sent those chemical weapons to our shores and another 9-11 take place.



The surge fixed the problem. Iraq was calm. Our soldiers were, on paper, scheduled to leave. When Bush left office, the Middle East was stable. Libya was stable. Syria was stable. Iraq was stable. People weren't being beheaded.


Donald Trump is perhaps the FIRST American president in history intelligent enough to think past that. He's a businessman. He built a ten billion dollar empire. He is the landlord of the largest bank in the world. I think the guy knows how to plan ahead, how to think past an event.

He's going to destroy ISIS, get Saudia Arabia to start reimbursing this country for our military protection, get South Korea to reimburse us for protection against North Korea. He's going to make those countries build a safe zone in that region (not our country) for the refugees.

Think he can't? THIS IS WHAT HE DOES BEST.

Trump's most idiotic critics all bring up the four bankruptcies he brokered in order to save companies. This man made BILLIONS by negotiating a reduction in paying back money. Now he is the president and America is going to be negotiating for a little help on OUR military bills.

Just like Mexico is going to pay for that wall, the rest of the world is going to kick in a little help, monetarily if they want the United States to continue to keep the world stable.

Compare that to the KENYAN SHOESHINE BOY, who destabilized much of the world and doubled our national debt.



Actually, there is a reformation and marshall plan in the Middle East. It has been going on since the Forties. It's called ISRAEL, the ONLY stable country and our ONLY ally.

Trump has a good heart, but frankly most of the Middle East is populated by a bunch of raghead animals still living in the sixteenth century. And the best way to fix their attitude is to pump up America's domestic oil and take away a lot of those millions of petro dollars ISIS is using against us now.

The surge did not fix the problems. The suggestion is silly. The surge put troops into Baghdad. What helped was called the Anbar awakening. We paid Sunni tribes to supply fighters. Those militias cut into the number of fighters Al Qaeda in Iraq could recruit. When Maliki went back on his word and refused to merge the Sunni militias into the Iraqi Army....they became part of ISIS when it returned in force from Syria.

Trump knows real estate....he doesn't know shit about much else.

WWII did not start because of anything FDR did. Hitler took power in Germany in 1933...the same year FDR did in the US.
