After a Black man was killed by police in North Carolina, a community calls for authorities to release the body-cam footage

Once again another (D) run city is on the hot seat. When will the (D) stop the racist actions?
There is no way to put a stop to the police violence that is integral to the capitalist system without dismantling the capitalist state and replacing it with a workers' state.

Funny thing...did you blame trump for all the shootings while he was president? Nah. Did you blame the republican governor of Florida when there were shootings there?

Of course not...how about the governor of Texas when the shooting in El Paso happened?

There sure weren't a lot of police killing people in the workers' states ... the Soviet Union in the days of Lenin and Stalin, N. Korea, and Romania being the principal exceptions due to their isolation and backwardness that allowed certain capitalist atavisms to survive, just as every historical march of progress has had uneven results as here one facet of the old order was swept away first, here another.

So your philosophy actually encourages police violence because all of the power belongs to the state. Good to know. :)

“The state” is an empty abstraction. The power of the state is the power of the ruling class, and how it is exercised depends entirely on what the ruling class is and how sharp the class struggle.

There is no such thing as a society without a ruling class, and the police will always be what the ruling class dictates them to be. At least in our system, it's decentralized so that no one group has complete control. What you want to plunge this nation into would negate that.

Societies without private property have no ruling class. And that is the vast majority of societies for the vast majority of the time humans have walked the Earth.

There is no class society without a ruling class ... which was my point ... you prefer that the world’s rich exercise their class rule via thousands of petty tyrants mutually reinforcing each other with unaccountable provincialisms, red tape, and bureaucracy. I would rather see the working class consolidate its class dictatorship in the hands of a single leviathan state that frankly bases itself directly on violence and is organized to wage uncompromising class war, put an end to private property, and thereby automatically undermine its own independent authority.

And you prefer tyranny. I like my choice better.

Capitalism looks like liberty to the billionaires and tyranny to the working class. Socialism looks like liberty to the working class and tyranny to the billionaires.
As brainless as that all sounds, do you have any working examples or is this entirely your communist fantasy?
