AOC wears Tax the Rich to MET Gala which cost 35,000 for her to get in and she didn't wear a mask.

So why do you still live in America
I know why, you can't afford to move across the street much less out of America

You prove to be a failure in life
Cuba, Vietnam, and N. Korea have both LESS poverty than before they became socialist and MORE than the U.S. Socialism has accelerated Cuba’s and Vietnam’s development (if not, due to a “perfect storm” of historically determined setbacks, N. Korea’s), but it started far behind the U.S. and has only caught up part of the way. But the same way Cubans, Vietnamese, and N. Koreans advanced from their pitiful starting points by turning to socialism, we in the U.S. (with much less retardation due to the interference of foreign imperialism) would advance from our much more advanced starting position by turning to socialism.

Yes. Every “communist state” has diminished poverty. There has not been one that has not.
This is the most important question I'll ever ask you on communism.

Why does every "communist state" have large cohorts of citizens who flee and want to flee and migrate towards "capitalist states"?

There’s a reason they lock the dumpsters and sometimes poison the food now.

The rich charge as much rent as the market will bear whether their political power is reduced by taxing them or not.

Great question. The world doesn’t have “communist states” or even strictly speaking “socialist states.” It has workers’ states in the process of constructing socialism. These represent an infantile stage of the progress toward communism and as such have the typical problems associated with any mode of production in its immaturity … agriculture is typically backward while isolation and counterrevolutionary pressure typically lead to an exploitative backward bureaucratic caste which exploits the people … sometimes with greater efficiency than capitalist exploiters due to socialism’s loosening of the fetters on production … and is able to do so because they maneuver to set themselves up as arbiters between the workers whose power is rising and the capitalists whose power is still too great to ignore. People naturally flee to the rich countries just as people from the capitalist world (Haiti, Mexico, Guatemala, etc.) routinely flee poverty and oppression in their countries. There are also of course the capitalists, landlords, torturers for the capitalist regime, etc., fleeing reprisals or trying to escape with their hoarded wealth.

Human nature trumps Marxist ideology time and again is what you're saying.

No, what I’m saying is that the communist movement is a long-term one of progressive amelioration, not a panacea that will instantly create a utopia by applying a recipe. People and societies born in capitalist society carry over capitalist methods and values with them as they begin to transition to socialism; it is only after socialist society has matured and begun to give way to communist society that the atrocities typical of its capitalist origins begin to fall away.

The bottom line: every state that has become socialist has ended up with a better standard of living than it had under capitalism. Feel free to furnish a counterexample.

some still struggling... take Ukraine as example.. and Russia...a backwoods has ben power of aged monolith construct and systems....

Russia: from gaslight and a majority illiterate to pioneering space exploration and building the first nuclear power plants in a couple generations. Typhus eradicated. No longer the site of regular large-scale pogroms against Jews. Abortion legalized (except for a period when reversed under Stalin). Tremendous increase in levels of education and of women's education in particular.
Poland: no longer the site of Nazi death camps and persecution of Ukrainians, or ruled by an SS general with the aid of the Gestapo. Jews no longer massacred. Abortion legalized.
Ukraine: no longer the site of Nazi and fascist racial massacres, large-scale pogroms against Jews, Cossacks terrorizing peasant communities and cities. Abortion generally legalized. Went from a largely rural, agricultural community to a largely urban, industrialized community. Tremendous increase in levels of education and of women's education in particular.
Lithuania: never became socialist in terms of economy. Annexed for reasons of military necessity and treated as a capitalist colony of the USSR for the benefit of an exploitative Russia. But if you want to say they
Estonia: same as Lithuania.
Czechoslovakia: no longer under Nazi control. No more deportations to death camps. Abortion legalized. Antigay discrimination banned. First country to eradicate polio.

To the capitalist mindset, nothing and nobody is worth anything unless it can be monetized. I expect a long-term increase in income but first I have to get a job in my field … if I get one now I will still be ahead of the average for current graduates.
